Yeah, I love that. Saw it a couple days ago. Extremely creative. Like everything else about the site. I might get one of they're e-mail addresses. Having @hell.com would be awesome.

you can find more working pages here .
the last time i went through the archive i found some sort of chatroom that was interesting for like half a minute.
it's definitely not an arg, more geared towards art/design like that other person said.
they used to [and still do it seems] link to member's sites that are weird and artsy.

Ok. Not meaning to beat a dead horse, but.... this site now has a sign-up option and I was sent an email with a link to :http://hell.com/WARNING
It's odd and I think its somehow a chat room. In the email they said they'd contact me when they have more for me. *shrug*
Not sure if anyone else has gotten this...

parts of this i said previously, but when Hell.com started it was an art gallery for college kids to display their works - you had to sign up, get a special password in an e-mail, and an invitation to each display. You had to search round the site to get to the sign up. I realize things have changed, but it sounds like the old sign up - was there a warning about not giving your information to anyone else who was not invited?

This thread is pretty old, but I can shed some light on it. Ages, upon ages ago, I gave them my email address, and a few months later, I got an email saying I was invited to participate in the web site. The "event" ran for about a week, and it consisted of some fascinating web design and artwork. It took a sinister tone on occasion, but it wasn't anything I would have considered an ARG. I think I could have spend months exploring the content created, and hardly even scratched the surface. I know this info is somewhat vague, but it's difficult to describe exactly what they had on their parallel web, to put it simply, "I guess you just had to be there".
