Thanks to this article at The Sentinel, we now know a little more about the format that the Comprendo system uses. The URL we are trying to access is:

http://www.ascendancypoint.com/comprendofinance/74419038751-4593855/

Still no leads on a possible password, but if it's multiple words, it seems like they should probably be separated with underscores.

Also the User name/Password from The Sentinel article sited above, uses an underscore......thesentinel/public_access
I haven't gotten it to work, but maybe the words on Salk's folder ('Reynolds ionizers. Viendenbourg.') are a part of this.

I'm betting it's the name of this secret organization - do we know it's called Third Power, or is that a conjecture at this point?

Also, what do you think the login is? pietro? pietrosalk? psalk?

I just tried the following and logged in successfully (only worked in IE for some reason)
Username: thesentinel
Password: public_access

And it lead to this .pdf file

Shockt: be sure you are talking about the same URL. The one linked to from The Sentinel (with an account number starting 7448...) is different than the one we are trying to access with The Advisor's account number (starting 7441...)

The account number isn't blacked out then......pity, it would have been Sente's shout down the local!

Just to review what we already know about this 'extract', the relevant information is all encapsulated in this one quote from the salk logs.

Quote:
OK. I'm with Comprendo through my building. I've set up a single page for you to look at, identity details removed. You know the password already. The number of the extract is: 74419038751-4593855

spec... 'identity details removed' could mean there is no username, so all we need to do is find some reference to the password in the salk logs.

More than likely, it means that there is no identifying information on the page hidden behind the username/password. It is difficult (if not impossible) to set up a standard web server to accept a password without a username using this form of authentication.

having solved the eclipse security one, what do we think the user is? pietro or theadvisor, im more likely to think pietro, cos she says she set the page up specially for him. Also is the password more likely to be theadvisor related or pietro related, its not birchtree or thelimelife.

I suspect that the user will be the Advisor, as it is her account. The login for Eclipse was her name, but it was 'obvious' for Pietro, so the same user, but different password?

Just mulling things through.

hey, i had an idea, is the password something to do with the coffee the advisor drinks??

Quote:
Subject: Meeting

I have arranged a secure channel. I will transmit the meeting-place information in 6 minutes. It will be available to you for one minute. Do not write it down. You will not recognise me. I will find you.

Next time we meet, you're buying the coffees.

it seems quite likely given that the pastry she might have eaten at the meeting was the other password.

so does anyone know how to contact fenlon's?

EDIT: fenlons being the ascendancy point coffee house

The username is theadvisor, the password is rudon. I looked up the forest last night, but only thought to try it in Pietro's pages, didn't think to look here. But I woke up this morning knowing I had to try it here. Talos D'Loristo found it in the Futures - I think they've been wanting us to get this for a while. Enjoy:
