The first season was pretty good. Then they tacked on formulaic soft science fiction plots onto the undersea conceit, and yes, the show went down in quality.

There was on episode when the seaQuest *somehow* finds a weird hole in time, goes in, or gets sucked in, and ends up in some sort of weird future.

There were only two people left in this future, isolated behind fortresses of some sort. The two communicated with each other using technology, but had never actually met or seen the other.

And, of course, the two were a boy and a girl.

The episode turned into some sort of "getting these two together to save the world" thing.

The motive was something about how the future curled back on the past, so saving the future saved the past. And if the past was saved, seaQuest could go home.

I was quite young when I watched most of these. Wink

I don't know when that future time was - I doubt it was 2052 cause there's more than two people around in that time.

L.

No e-mail address. So far, we havn't even found a website. All we have is AIM conversations - our "contact to tomorrow" goes by a676 F64. According to him, it's a random string.
