Mo Eisley Bartender is a player like the rest of us, he is not in game.

No need to add him to your list...

If you guys every bother to come on in to #acheron you will see what I am talking about, instead of sitting in your underware, lurking around.. But Participating wiht the rest of us..

Lurking around is no FUN... Being part of the action is where the action is...

Sorry don't have much time for chat anymore. I wish I did. I have a 14-month old girl that I chase around all day and a husband to spend time with at night. And don't knock us lurkers. Chat isn't where it's all at. Wink I hardly ever dropped in at #ctw and had plenty of fun with that game. Some of us on the lurking post-only daytime crew can come up with some pretty good spec too!

Maybe some of the chat people should post more on the board to help us pathetic lurkers. Wink

 		So I finally got yahoo to let me play chess. It was my stupid Zone Alarm that was preventing me the whole time from loading it. Anyway, I played two games with Mephisto...

The first game went on for a bit. I couldn't get yahoo to email me the history of the game, but I took a screenshot which I attached. He told me it was a good game, although he won Wink

The second game

I'd have to agree with Varin on the Lurking scene...
Although my brief chatting experience has been great, I really don't have the ability to jump into chat all the time.

I still think I've got some tidbits of helpful advice left, and really appreciate that all the days' ideas make it back to this board. Perhaps a SPEC section for Acheron would be appropriate?

For instance:
Totally ridiculous SPEC, but according to Google, that line is from 'Beetlejuice 2'.

I'm in #acheron all the time, but I still agree with you guys (Varin/mysteryjones) about this issue. I don't think you have to know about every little thing going in the chatroom to post here. The way I see it, if we're SPECing in the chat room, and it's important enough for everyone to know, then someone in the room should post it to the forums. I really think, given it's universal medium, the forums are the real "doctrine" of the team. I would say before posting something, we should just be familiar with what's already up on the forums, just to make sure it's not trout, etc.

If you want to chill out in #acheron, it would certainly benefit you by helping you know every single thing that's going on the second that it's happening. But as for this "log on #acheron and ask permission before posting idea" : I say "no dice"...
