 		Mephisto's Message (Numbers)
Mephisto/Xover decided to IM a couple of us this string of numbers:

xover222: 9,18,3,4,15,20,20,8,5,7,1,13,5,2,15,24,4,15,20,14,5,20
9,3,4,8,5,7,1,5,2,4,5,18,15,20,20,13,15,24,15,20,14,20
20,5,14,20,15,4,24,15,2,5,13,1,7,5,8,20,20,15,4,3,18,9

This was after Geist beat Mephisto at chess. THANKS GEIST!!!

Then Xover came on and gave us this in his away message:

ctrl+alt+del+tab+backspace+enter+numberlock+shift

What was the method you used to figure out the code and translate it?

 		Oh boy, is my face red. Before you had the whole message decoded, I did a /who on that server and noticed this suspicious chat room. So I joined it and after about 30 seconds of me not saying anything, the guy quit. Embarassed

Spec: this is a neutral chat where reggie/mephisto (or whomever he is today) can chat with players.
Afterall, they can't come into #acheron or #unfiction.

I think it was just a straight a=1, b=2 cypher on the number sequence (Katya I think) which spelled out, IRCDOTTHEGAMEBOXDOTNET
forwards backwards and scrambled in three lines.
I think it was Mos in #acheron who suggested the room name, the thinking being that it was the only key written in all caps.

Not all puzzles require being a grand master at chess.
