Not me. But then the whole not giving us the information we need to solve the puzzles annoys me...err annoys Stella.

The blog has been updated again. This one looks like a step beyond recognising Indo-Arabic numerals... Time to brush up on writing systems, glyphs, symbols and the like.

brush on your Moon Braille or Moon alphabet; it's a form of raised lettering for people with limited vision who don't learn the dots system of Braille. (or not, or perhaps the resulting letters need further decryption)

In case you hadn't seen my translation, done via the reference chart at Omniglot, it reads The door can not be found by people who have not the key.

I think we can discount trying to derive any meaning from the text block below. If you look at the recognisable Latin words, you can make out Sodales, Tempus and Fusce, all of which are found in Lorem Ipsum texts. Personally, I'd be inclined to skip that part of the page entirely, and concentrate on the mysterious text at the top:

HCVWO KWUVWO
U V W N V Q T W O

does this mean that we need a key + vigenere to find out what the top text means?

i already tried vigenering it with keys such as "moon", "elements", etc...

yah i just thougt i'de throw that out there. It gives me a 1% chance of saying "told you so" Razz

[update] the alchemists

New blog entry today.
http://www.greatestjournal.com/users/thealchemists/
No puzzle yet. Just talk about the Sieve of Eratosthenes (whose nickname was beta).
New scans probably up tomorrow.

I don't think we've solved the
HCVWO KWUVWO U V W N V Q T W O
or the spiral.

Deanna's page?

Sorry, but can someone point me towards the GJ page of the person who hosted the periodic table image in the first place?

No further clues there, I'm afraid. I had the same idea as you, but it was one of thealchemist's own hosted pics. Their userid is thealchemists (1091169), and the picture URL is http://pictures.greatestjournal.com/userimg/4578208/1091169

The user is "pictures." It's tricky; you're led to think that its' just on an image server, but it's not. The username is pictures, and is deliberately meant to throw you off.
