Money, money everywhere, but not a dime to spend

Someone on another board says this about the money, but what do you
think?

"yes, the "IRS" agent said he didn't even bring the money. it was bills wrapped around blank paper. the money is still out there somewhere"

But is it cleared up? What evidence is there that Sloman didn't bring the money? Did we actually see the bag open and a fake wad pulled out right when the "agents" arrive? Or did the "IRS Agent" switch it out to make Jim (and us) believe that he didn't bring the money. The time elapsed in the scene gives me no clear direction as to the whereabouts of it.

So, think for your self:

1. Did Sloman bring the money and the "authorities" replace it and take it from him?

2. Did Sloman bring the money and the "authorities" allow Sloman to keep it and let him leave town?

3. Did Sloman bring fake money?

Building on #3....

If Sloman brought fake money, did he know he brought fake money?

Things to consider:

Mary switched the money:
(She brought the money to her father and he didn't count it; he knew it was all there...)

Shadrach switched the money:
(He dug up the money that Caleb buried in the desert and switched it and put the fake money in Silas' coffin at the funeral home, which Mary later retrieved.)

From my point of view, I don't know where FOR CERTAIN when the money got switched and what character has it. I wouldn't mind hearing other points of view.

Money, Money Everywhere.....

I am a "nobody" here and only recently learned about these games. I so wish that I had known about them long ago as I love them. I have learned so much from all you guys here(unfiction) and at ARGN, although I am still just a baby at all this.
I was trying to figure out exactly where I/we lost track of the money. I think maybe Sloman DID bring(what he thought was) the money. He had the money in a different bag than the one that Mary delivered it to him. Someone had to switch it over from the suitcase that Mary delivered it in. If you remember, he brought the money in a black duffle-type bag. I think that Jim was right when he told the other guy that he didn't look like an IRS man. Also, remember that there were those same black helicopters buzzing around earlier in the show looking for the money or the Bible during the night. Why would the IRS just be searching for buried money instead of trying to catch the criminal in action?
I think that maybe the other "IRS" agent was someone who was only after the money. He also could have been someone working for Watermark to scam the other real agents into believing that Watermark had been taken down so as to lure them (Jim and Dawn) off their trail.
Again, I have nowhere near the expertise that all of you members of unfiction have, but I did want to speak up about what I had been thinking about this.

God, I can't get this freakin' show off my mind.

I've been wondering, will the money be some place where it makes sense in the story line? Or is it just a place that fits all the clues? Or both? If it runs with the story line, then wouldn't we've needed to see all 12 episodes? Or does the story of the money end after the 7th episode( even if it wasn't cancelled)? That doesn't seem to make sense. But if it's just that we need to follow the clues, then I guess it doesn't matter if we can figure out where it was last seen in the show. That doesn't sit well with me either. As you can tell, I'm totally confused as to which direction I'm supposed to be going. Am I showing too much of my hand? Maybe, if I had a hand! Laughing I guess I just want to say I was able to follow along when this whole thing is over. Rolling Eyes

OK, so who out there is totally confident they have this thing solved? No need to give any info, just wondering who I need to be writing to asking for money. Laughing Laughing

Good Luck kids! See you at 9:10 EST (or so).
