I like the idea, Spacely....
However, a polo shirt with the trout icon
would also be cool. Cuz from a distance of more than a foot or so, it would totally go unnoticed.
EDIT: Or perhaps a merge of ideas.... the trout icon after the search button or something? Someone more creative than I can surely whip something up in this arena? (Stating subtle-ly that if you search, you avoid trout, using a simple polo-riffic pictogram?)
EDITWO: Also, I personally would prefer a black polo shirt, over a white one. (You just can't keep a white polo clean. One
bloody handprint
coffee stain, and you're ruined!

I agree white shirts are just bad. I don't know what it is but as soon as I put light colored clothes on I spill everything . But if you haven't noticed already, cafepress only stocks light colored shirts. There are other online stores that offer greater customization. Although someone would have to personally purchase a minimum quantity and sell/ship them themselves.

Cafe press don't print white, which is why they don't sell black:
Quote:
On colored fabrics be aware that any white in your image will show as the color of the fabric. White ink is not possible in our current dye sublimation process. Also very light colors may be affected by the color of the shirt.
So white = transparent on your images.
some of the cafe press guidelines are here:

How about the Perplex City Unfiction card on a t-shirt? (...but using something a little higher quality than a cameraphone pic taken in a pub.)

Why stop at just one t-shirt? why not have a whole series!! And whilst you are at it, why not make them constructive, and informative... it would have said "Golden rules of ARG" but we wouldnt want to make it too easy
(thx to j5 for the base img)

About a week and a half ago I submitted a shirt design to threadless.com , which is basically an on-going contest to get a shirt printed. It was approved today for the contest, meaning it's time to vote on it. I've got seven days to get this bad boy scored, so I'm counting on you guys to at least give it a glance and give it some feedback. Yes, I made this for you beekeepers.
5 is best! 0 is worst! And apparently you have to sign up to score, so thanks a lot if you take the time to do this. (click the image to reach the page)

First off, I love Ehsan's underwear.
I decided to make a more intricate version of the unfiction logo in a high enough resolution for printing on a tshirt. (I have an even larger version on my computer) The swirly things in the background are pretzels because ARG plots can become so twisted.
Here's how it looks on a selection of cafepress t-shirts.
Edited to add men's t-shirts in grey and yellow

I like the 3rd one but it would be better on a non white color shirt.

Here is the logo I was using for my stuff. It's in flash, so it can be exported as large as needed. Also it should be easy to make adjustments to since it's vector based (not sure I have the colours right).
I Think I have the right font for 'unfiction' it's called 'garden' but I haven't been able to find it on the net. Thanks to jamesi I have the right font for the slogan 'calvin and hobbes' which you should be able to download. I traced the box from the small logo, so hopefully all the proportions are the same. (not that anyone really cares)

Thanks for the tips about the fonts, Colin.
I did the best I could with my fonts cd. My net searches came up lacking. This font search engine idetified the best match to the slogan as "Agrafie", and wanted to charge $22 for it.
I wonder what fonts come included with a photoshop5 demo.
I really like your scaleable facsimile of the uf logo.
Perhaps the background is just a little dark in your resistance design but it made me smile. I have no problem if that makes me sound geeky.
For future reference, is something like Macromedia Studio necessary in order to open .fla files?
