My sister lived in Swansea about ten years ago.
Wonder if I should talk to her to see if she ever met any funny characters then at this club.

I got another message from Islington (forwarded by Orkid) that stumps me. Maybe he's telling me I'm getting too wrapped up in all this.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
date sent: unknown
location: yale
those present: nash and islington

I: what you need, my friend, is a Truly Original Idea.
Just don't get carried away with it!
N: hmmm... original, you say? I'll bear that in mind.
-time passes-
I: now what did I tell you?
N: Ummmmm....
I: about the carrying?
N: ahh.

Remember that email I sent Islington saying I couldn't find the map?
My words have changed a bit now on scribes/duckie
It seems that, in the future, wherever I go on the map, I won't be finding the key... but I haven't found the map yet!

Oh, and if you want to give me a ring, please go ahead and send me a fax Wink at least I won't look absolutely stupid stopping by Document services AGAIN and asking for a fax that I don't know who sent or what about...
We'll see about getting in touch directly via phone, though, I'm still figuring out the extention system.

If thats true, Rose (I honestly read it and thought Nash Cary)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The Real Nash didn't have grandoise imaginings about people no one else can see... thats not how the disease works. What he did imagine was that he was recieving secret messages from aliens. He wrote a book about it which may, perhaps, be one of the 13
Oh, and Nash went to Yale, no?

So far it seems we've found several books, a fax number, and a few references to the fact that we need to "get beyond the filter"
It was useful, for a time, to look at what they're doing over at lazylaces. But, now that so many people are pretending to be Triscal, or posting secret clues, its become so much of a mess I can't really see through it anymore.
I am utterly confused on what to do, and why my link went away. It would be nice if we had an easy puzzle, and could figure out how to solve it and what to do with the solution. Right now I'm not even sure what I'm looking for, but boy, am I looking.

what to do

Probably the best thing is to do a summary of what has been found and where it was found, it doesn't need to be elaborate, even a simple list will help. It would help me anyway. Smile

Once the information is somewhat organized we can see where we need to work. I know someone said there were many puzzles and many pages but i haven't found them all.

I'd say moving this to News and Rumors was probably a good first step Wink
I'll set about trying to gather all the books we've seen so far, if someone else will do characters and all the scribe pages we know about.

Upanishads

The Upanishads are the mystic teachings of Brahma knowledge. They form some of the foundations of both Hindu and Buddhist philosophies. Quite beautiful writings, though, I prefer the Bhagavad-Gita.

The connection? Perhaps the mysticims involved in reincarnation and Karma?

I dunno.

Keep on keepin' on...

four more. We've got Orkid, who was the first key, and SixSidedSquare, who is from unforums.
According to a post made on lazylaces, they've already reached thirteen. I believe that the four extra are from lazylaces.

beautiful mind

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
John F. Nash Jr. didn't go to Yale. He went to carnigie mellon, taught at MIT and worked at the IAS at Princeton. As for carrying it too far, is that a reference to Nash's mental illness?
