 		rabbit shadows
The lighting on the rabbit does seem to change...the only thing that the streaks somewhat remind me of is the whole xbox360 them of green circles...i was almost positive (as i'm sure everyone else was as well) that this site had to do with the xbox360 (i mean...look at the site name). But with the dates announced its obvious that microsoft is still screwing with us. i honestly think they announced it just to forward on the mystery surrounding the site.

going back to the latin phrasing...the assumptions that a few consoles would be released into gaming stores to be played before the 22nd is sounding quite tasty now...its obvious that there are playable versions out there (TGS) and ebgames was recently told to stop taking preorders (which originally made me think an october release date but so much for that).

ne thoughts?

Just this one. Since the beginning of the site, I believe the word "tease" has always appeared in the name of the backup image file in the html source. This has always made me think that there was nothing really to solve. The one and only thing that keeps me from 100% thinking it's just a tease marketing campaign was the inclusion of the latin text. Not only was it placed in the picture, but it was hinted at in the html source by naming, I believe the swf reference, "_with_latin" or something to that effect. It was almost like the creators of the site said, "They're not getting it", and purposely dropped an obvious clue in. It just seems so out of place with respect to everything else. My point? I keep thinking that somehow something (not obvious) is being missed. End thought.

 		Heh, that would totally make sense. The way the holes in the rabbit just appeared, like it's going to reveal what's behind it.

actually the holes could very vaguely be seen before...many peeps have commented on the 2d puppet nature of the rabbits in other forums i've seen

 		The announcement of the Xbox cafe in Omotesando in the Shibuya (the correct spelling) of Tokyo took me by suprise. The building that I scoped out is definitely an Xbox cafe but it is not on Omotesando. It is fairly close but it is in Aoyama not Omotesando. Both are upscale posh districts and similar in layout but... hmmm. Kinda seems strange to me.

As for Perfect Dark. The official wbsite was just launched today.

 		The PDZ site was updated I see.

I remember some puzzles and Quicktime 360view game/puzzles on their Perfect Dark 1 sites.

Should be cool.

 		I think the lighting on the rabbit (only appears to ever show on the one rabbit) is due to the rabbit's position under the tree. Look at the tree's shadow. It's like the light source is directly above the scene and since the rabbit is under the tree, hence the lighting/shadow artifacts....maybe

Ok does anyone know the origen of life? I am not an expert in religion, but I think the Bible says life started with a tree in the garden of Eden. So my guess is that we are looking at the "Tree of Life". According to Revelations 22:2 the "Tree of Life" had 12 pieces of fruit. My guess is there will be 12 pieces of fruit on the tree after a few more updates.

After talking with a friend we thought the fruit could represent games or developers. That is if the hares represent the two consoles.

The other thing I found was that Baruch was the angel in charge of guarding the tree of life after the fall of man. Where is this all going? I have no clue.

Hmm, where did you get that? Traditionally, the cherub guarding the Tree of Life is supposed to be Michael, Metatron, or sometimes Gabriel, and in later mystical traditions, Yophiel.
