Unfortunately they completely skirted around the important question of the Gateway, and in fact only asked me a question in reference to the question I asked about lighting. Damn them.

I'm trying at the moment......not getting much but then I've got nothing to do til about 6pm so Very Happy

edit: the text you get when you hover over the image seems like something you'd get from those old adventure games back in the 80's/early 90's. It doesn't seem to give much away though.

I had a crack at changing the brightness/contrast in the GIMP, and then managed to lose it. Embarassed

Really just looks like a bunch of... well, of refurbishment things stacked up in the left hand hallway.

I don't suppose its stegged or anything is it? I haven't the technology to check it on my current computer.

PS. I love that Alt text. Reminds me of old text adventures Very Happy

It's a jpeg, by the way, or at least is now. Where did you get bmp from?

I think they've used camouflage up to now, so it would seem that the image isn't stegged, or at least the password isn't readily apparent. Not that it would be, of course. What about the image on the /gateway/5193 page? I refuse to believe this is the end of the trail Evil or Very Mad

never mind.. the reason I asked was that it kinda looks liker there's text written on the wall in the original image. (to the left of the door). Now that I've seen the lightened version I can see that there isn't any. Thanks anyway though Mr. Green

If it cropped up in the email or spam thread I'd instantly call spam on it. Electrophysyological means, um, something to do with the nervous system, I think.

Consubstantiation is a Lutheran version of transubstantiation - eating the body of Christ type things. It means that the spiritual (Jesus) and the mundane (bread) exist together at the same time.

Antipodean means Australian, and that's where my brain started to leak out of my ears.

Maybe the idea here is to sort out what exactly the words mean, but that thing about Australia confused the heck out of me.

Interesting stuff popped up while I last checked...

First of all...is that an in-game Wiki? Hehe. I checked the source (yeah right, on a Wiki) and at the end it says "served by caesar"...I'm sure it's coincidence - I guess it's the name of the server that's hosting the particular wiki page - but I got an MU flashback. Actually, it's a very small flashback, because I'm still reading the MU archive. Laughing

It's not like I was fortunate enough to have seen all of this when it came out...

Back to it.

The link on gateway refers to 5193.html...that means we can expect to see 5493.html (there's a room designated in red on floorplan1 with the very same number) sometime soon.

This whole yukai thing sounds like the Hollows from the Anime "Bleach", but that's probably a big Japanese tradition, anyway.

I suspect the satellite image on 5193.html shows the GPS coordinates in the EXIF...? My hard drive died on me and I'm at a crappy machine right now so I won't be able to check any fancy pic stuff until - hopefully - it's back with a face-lift on Monday.

And where did you get the idea that "antipodean" = "Australian" ?
www. dictionary.com tells me it's

They seem to have some typos in there...
The definition reminds me of the 4 places VaporLoft got its projects at. Quite antipodean. Though they probably are talking about something completely different.
