Indeed - I think that we don't need to spoilerise that now. So Patrick Az seems to be the closest we can come but we still need more people otherwise this is meaningless.

Yes! It's very likely that the numbers are a completed Sudoku puzzle. There are 81 numbers (9x9 grid) before the "SUD". If it is, we may be able to get the solution without having all of the letters posted (which I suspect may have been the original intention).
MasterCheese posted one possible solution in chat, but it's not definite. We still don't have enough numbers to get a unique solution.

And you're right, we don't have enough numbers for a unique solution.

I think you've got a '3' missing from the centre square of the middle-bottom set of 9 (i.e. 5 before the last '1')

Here are 2 possible solutions:
2 4 3 7 8 6 9 5 1
6 1 8 5 4 9 7 3 2
7 9 5 2 1 3 4 6 8
5 2 7 1 6 8 3 4 9
3 6 1 4 9 2 8 7 5
4 8 9 3 7 5 1 2 6
8 3 4 6 5 1 2 9 7
9 7 6 8 2 4 5 1 3
1 5 2 9 3 7 6 8 4
Or placing the missing 3 from buzman's post
2 4 3 7 8 6 9 5 1
6 1 8 5 4 9 7 3 2
7 9 5 2 1 3 4 6 8
5 2 7 1 6 8 3 4 9
3 6 1 4 9 2 8 7 5
4 8 9 3 7 5 1 2 6
8 7 4 6 5 1 2 9 3
9 5 2 8 3 4 6 1 7
1 3 6 9 2 7 5 8 4
Don't know if this helps anyone at this stage since there are probably a few other solutions as well.

Good work on the Sudoku idea.
It might not be as easy as figuring out the Sudoku solution though.
For example, I could imagine a code involving numbers in the grid that don't fit the solution pattern. That is, the solution might say the square holds a "3" but the corresponding card shows a "9" or something...giving us a clue.
In other words, there's no real substitute for finding out the real values from each of the 100 cards. Still it will be very useful to know what the solution should be.
