If you go to

http://www.vibration13.com/triskabiblios/secure/themostcomplicatedpuzzleinHumanHistory.swf

and view the source code you see a lot of things (things that aren't logical source code) his name is in there. It says wingdings 2 seven times as well and the page appears to be made of that font. It could be code, it could be gibberish meant tohide those words that are readable, or it could be a big old ball of sh** this game is becoming......... Cursing Bang Head

i asked a programmer friend about the Xand page thingy an excerpt of which is on withes page and he said

Quote:
those quotes, btw, looked like a clip of source code from a 3 or 4GL language for controling conversation(or XML lookalike) (like if you were in game and you said 'xxx xxxx'xxx'xxxxx' would respond with 'yyy yyy y yyyyy')
is stuff like 'Q1' prefix, and 'ENDQ1' suffix around question that makes me think that

I want to stop playing this, but because these are books I'm too intrigued. I'm a bookseller, and I HAVE to know the answer!! Razz

Has anyone noticed that when you click the link from the first picture, it takes you to lazylaces, but the address is different?

Hmmmm............

Methinks I smell a rat.

You can access all of lazylaces info and the web address doesn't change. If you "refresh" it takes you back to the parent directory.

I wonder why? Confused

Okay, as I have had to wade through 4 more pages since I've been out today (and as far as I can tell, there haven't been that many updates), it's time to start enforcing posting procedures in this thread.

1. Please keep your posts on-topic to the game. General chit-chat and basic agreement/congratulatory posts only serve to create more noise in here. You can easily chat in the chatrooms and basic agreements can be PM'd to the person in question.

2. If you have a question or a "new" item to post, please use the Search button (in the upper right hand corner) to take a look to see if it hasn't been answered/posted already. I know how easy it is to lose stuff in a 20+ page thread, and that's when the search button becomes invaluable.

3. If you have a question that hasn't been answered, please give as much info as you can when asking - that is, let us know how this question arose so that we can better answer/research the question. Especially if it is from something new, not everyone will have gotten to that point yet.

4. If you have a new item to post, please make sure you tell us how you found it and post any pertinent data found (either using the quote button or the spoiler button). Also make sure to include the link to the new find (if applicable) so that we don't have to go search for it.

<edit>5. You are still free of course to make speculation as you see fit. I am not trying to quash ideas, I'm just merely trying to keep us focused specifically on the game. There are plenty of other threads on this board where you can talk back and forth, but at this point, this thread is not one of them. </edit>

I will be enforcing these guidelines from here on out via the Private Message system (so no going - but you aren't bothering So-and-So about this, cuz chances are, I am in private). Sorry to be such a downer, but this is confusing enough without having a 1:50 signal to noise ratio.

i dont think it has anything to do with it. i think its just the way that the page it set up. if you notice, if you click on any link the url in the top does not change. im no HTML expert but there is probally some code that keeps the url the same no matter what

Infanta is right, it is the way the page is set up. Specifically, that the original triskabiblios page is actually built out of frames. The reason the address doesn't change is that you are navigating within the frames and that address won't show up. It's like when you visit other sites based on frames, and when you navigate out, there is usually a link that says "Break out of Frames" or something similiar. If you right click on the links and open in a new tab or window, the address will appear correctly.

mountain girl: In my post where I first mentioned the page with the moon font on page 19 of this thread, I put the translation. It comes out to be "judge yourself". I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but please search before posting.
