It was actually a fairly straightforward thing to set up in retrospect - I just called the bar, booked some space (which was free, incidentally!) and MC graciously agreed to come along, buy some food... and indeed went above and beyond the call of duty with some freebies.

So to anyone wanting to set up an event like this, I'd reccommend biting the bullet and going for it - with a little more time and planning, you could easily exceed it. (As pleasant as it was!) Obviously it was a long way from the organisational headmelt of ARGfest, but from tiny acorns... Very Happy

Now hie thee to the other Cubefesty threads, aftermath and photos. Oh lordy!
