Well i did find something out that if you use the letters down the side it says TESTB... I know that everyone knows that but if you include the S from Supernovae*...

I put that in for a website ie. www.testbs.com and it said that it was a website waiting to be published but no from the same company that mind candy do it through...

Just throwing ideas up and it maybe nothing but lets see?!?

It means they've rendered that text as an image, is all it means.

yes but the other text 'the new hit band, inspired by perplex city and landing on earth soon'' is clearly visible in the source. so if it was rendered as an image all of the text wouldnt be in the source. check for yourself...

TESTB
or
TESTBS

the Next Power

the 3 squares symbol

(I'm thinking Reason and the gang should have accosted the sign putter-uppers. Drag them home and interrogate them!)

Assuming TESTB(S) isn't an acronym - what could they be "testing"

I've been combing the wiki for ANYTHING B - nothing really interesting.

Perhaps they're testing US - Earth, our response to PPC and how well they might be able to hide the cube here. Come to think of it, "test b" - aka: "it's hitting the fan, test plan b!"

That's the ALT text of the image, for display on browsers that can't display images. There's probably some limit on what you can put in there though, which is why only some of the text is there.

My wild musings for your info.

The GMC- The Guild of Master Craftsmen// Sculptor// Titanic// First class life, normally leads to some kind of exclusion.

Poor I know but I throw it in for a laugh. Be kind.

Exclusion Principle

*Supernovae

So... with all the clues from the poster revolving around stars, I thought 'What does the Pauli Exclusion Principle have to do with stars?', well... both white dwarfs and neutron stars are great examples of the Principle (i.e. it keeps them from collapsing). Please note I had no success with whitedwarf or neutronstar as .html or .htm.

Waiting for news from Friday,

Loric

Hi all - my first post ever, so I hope I'm getting it right (please don't shout if I haven't!).

Been following this for a while (took me ages to get up to speed - how does everyone do it?) - but to the point. Two separate thoughts:

1. song titles could indicate the life of a star - born in a greater molecular cloud (instead of Magellanic), the Exclusion Principle could be stretched to apply to planetary orbits perhaps (hmm), then a fully-formed constellation, followed by a huge collision, and then supernovae. Of course, that misses out Between a First Class Life.... But should we next be looking for a Black Hole? Or a white dwarf - how tall is Scarlett's old man?

2. There's a music connection with some of these. The GMC Band is in Edmonton, the Pauli Exclusion Principle are from northern California, Supernova (no 'e', I'm afraid) are a New Jersey Rock Band, Tycho Brahe (from Titanic) are a Brisbane Band, the Titanic Band went down in history, literally. Again, though, nothing for Between..... or Sculptor/Lacaille.

Oh btw, I think Tycho, Pauli, Magellan and Lacaille are craters on the Moon.

Does this get us anywhere? Probably not. But I thought it might help, or stimulate other thoughts.
