Ok, if you go to the project gateway page that was mentioned before, if you click prison, you get something fun. stick around
(and I know I clicked the "pictures" at least 5 times)
and something um, happens.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
anyone know how to take that sound, and reverse it?
Edit: you only need to click prison, and wait.

When you click on prison and watch / listen, notice the Welcome note at the bottom left corner changes.

Interesting find, Nep2ne! I think that's more of a "flash couldn't take that info with it during the 'transition art' and it wasn't caught by the PM with that same name" thing, though, than a kloo, but God knows I've been wrong multiple, many, copious times before.

Sorry if this has been convered but did we ever figure out what this translates into "34kjdz98 adiasdf9" from the emails being sent to us.
I think it translates to 'I just head-butted the keyboard'. Too many letters from the home row on the keyboard to be any kind of cipher, I suppose.
It seem foolish to think that anything that is put out in an email is there by random banging on a keyboard. I would bet that there is a code to be found here.

22nd as a start date then? But what are we looking for?
Probably the day a new page will be installed, or when another message will be sent to everyone

Given the logo on the map, I'm pretty sure this is the one referred to:
http://www.providence.edu/
Soo....anybody live in Providence, Rhode Island?

Probably nothing, but anyone think the way the "t" in "th" is odd as it's tipped sideways? Just found that interesting. (But I am pretty sure it's the 24th, and not the 27th, though.)

It seems foolish to think that anything with that many letters from the home row is anything but random pounding on the keyboard. It wasn't 'in' and e-mail, its the persons name. I could be completely wrong and its some kind of cipher that just happens to look like random pounding on the home keys.
On this subject, I wouldn't start jumping at trying to translate the random text at the beginning of the new e-mail either. I can recreate it easily:
Again, notice, that all the letters in the 'code' are from the home row. Nothing to say it's a cipher at all. Again, that's not to say its some cipher I don't recognize. But what I do recognize is random typing.
I've been wrong more times than Dorkm claims to be wrong though, so decode away.
