due to new info i have a massive spec thats probably alreay been mentioned a hundred times at least, so trout me or watever...

the third power has a seperate wing on earth, which is why kurt has been observing some extra chatter, they learnt a way to communicate with a earth a long time in the past, via a portal, they then formed the brotherhood to protect the portal, and the town it was located in (presumably viendenbourg) at some time in the future the third power realised that the cube seemed under threat and so stole it and transported it to earth in order to protect it, they then called on their members of the brotherhood from earth to come and protect the cube and communicated with them via a message saying that they should mmet in an old university on 19th september, as they feared people were close to tracking down the location of the cube, pietro/monica however intercepted this transmission somehow and managed to obtain a copy, and encoded it to monica's computer, monica then died but had managed to save the file containing the encoded message which leads us to now

For what a newcomer's opinion is worth, I'm intrigued by the idea of Myra Champaign as C. She's described as being a prodigy, and the experimental treatments she underwent are intriguing/suspicious...

I would think that C and V are not people who appear regularly in the Sentinel (not just the Earth edition, but the full edition.) If any of the people involved were "famous," like Sente, Myra, etc. then Monica would have said "C is the girl in the news about The Games" rather than "I think that C was the initial of her real surname."

Monica was never really in the news (at least, not with a photo) and Holyoke was not really in the news until his murder (which spooked Monica.) I would be quite surprised if the other two were celebrities or otherwise featured in a number of news stories.

ok, after studying the case with chalks and creating a really cool giant mindmap i have come to the following conclusions which have probably all been touched on at some point, but i enclose here for consloidation purposes; V is strong, male and has a temper due to the bloody nature of monica's murder, i also think that V is a member of the third power, the third power have not been classed as a religon and may be studiers and protectors of the cube 'he was a true believer, in the cube, not in the religion' C will ether be next to go, or else is still afilliating herself with V, for protection, the latter would fit with how V seems to have intercepted the communications between all of the characters who have been murdered (time and date of meeting communicated with us), although this probably would not have been hard. Also, the third power are a highly secretive organisation, we do not know anytrhing about them, apart from a possible spec about their symbol, this tendency for secrecy would mesh with the idea of a band website and few obvious clues as a means of covert communication, or as a cover for the real organisation. Therefore;

We need to find C and then we will find V and then we will find the 3P and the 3P will know where the cube is.

What was just recapped by Perplexed, combined with Kurt's last blog entry, has really brought about the idea that there is a group working against us here on Earth. It seems, then, extremely possible that the communication that we are expecting to recieve on Friday may in fact be communication to the group working on earth. Whoever attends should keep an eye out for this possibility as well.
