I have to say no series has ever caught my attention in the first two eps like Lost.... i mean im totally hooked. Already theres like 6-7 questions and by watching that "Lost Revealed" it presents another 10-15 Smile

Problem is theres no UK-centric discussion area about it, i like to bounce off people with theories and crap... but you search and find hundreds of forums for the US release filled with untag spoilers (i've been caught out once by that..and i know something i shouldnt).

I'm trying to resist just downloading all the eps....9gb on Bittorrent....must resist. Shocked

The Australians have the same problem, it seems. I think they started seeing episode 1 around the time we were seeing episode 20. I hang out on the forums at TWoP and noticed newcomers having to add comments to a discussion thread which was already 36 pages long and 3-5 months old. Fortunately, the forums there are strictly organized, so you can read only the info pertaining to your episodes. Unfortunately, I'm not sure many Brits will find their way there.

With a show like this, I love being able to share first impressions with other people who just saw what I saw. We have a chatroom in IRC (chat-solutions, #ctu) which does double (triple? quadruple?) duty for all of our most-obsessive shows: Alias, 24, Lost, and whatever other cool thing is going to be airing this fall.

adding this bit: I found a comment from a British viewer.
Quote:
I thought it may be of interest for you to hear that Channel 4 has just began showing Lost in the UK (in a special Big Brother-Lost-Big Brother-Lost sandwhich, with 1.3 following on sister channel E4 after that) and they did an Angel on it.

'Doing an Angel' BTW is a UK euphamism for 'Buying a US import and cutting the living shit out of it', named for Channel 4's treatment of Angel a few years ago, where they cut all the fight scenes and blood and, indeed, horrible language like 'wanker'.

In Lost's case, from 1.1 they cut:

And thus I recommend buying the DVD in a few weeks and just watching the whole season in one glorious weekend.

login code

Hello. I guess this is my first post here.

Anyway, something new appears to be on www.oceanicflight815.com. Click on the barcode image and get a login prompt. Enter the appropriate login (below), and a script page is revealed.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
code: theislandiswaiting

Probably not a full-fledged game or anything, but pretty cool.

It's not real in any way.

That whole script page is false, the title at the top states the scene as being from the first episode of series 2 "Man Of Science, Man of Faith". Plus, they have released a spoof script page before, supposedly giving a description of the monster, on the oceanicflight815 website.

I hope I'm not bringing up something that has been discussed before - I did do a search before posting this, but just had to ask... Did anyone ever see the site that was previously at http://www.oceanicairlines.com (with no hyphen)?

The first version was titled "Possibility" and had the tagline "it's right before your eyes" (and included more weirdness), the second version appeared sometime after the premiere last week and just had an image that read "7 ROWS".

I saw it both times and haven't found any kind of answers as to if it's a game, an official site, a fan site... (I found one discussion but it never found any answers) It's currently blank, the "7 ROWS" image being removed last Thursday or Friday, I think. It's just driving me crazy what it could have been!

(Again - hope I'm not beating a dead horse here... Just wondering if anyone else saw it and had any idea...)

updates

Now entering the code (above) reveals a different page of script, but again, it looks like fake. Something about Walt showing up as a zombie and a handwritten note suggesting that a more appropriate term for zombie might be "life challenged".

Also, if you click on the light coming from the hatch on www.oceanicflight815.com , you're taking to a new site, http://www.thehansofoundation.org/ (won't make sense unless you saw tonight's episode).

Not too much there except lots of "you don't have permission to access this" pages, and a "hidden" link labeled "Dharma Project" which doesn't yet go anywhere.

Snooping in their /images/ directory, I found a few pages of what look like design mockups. Nothing in the way of a clue, though, except that there are mockup pages for a video player, which leads me to believe that the orientation film from tonights episode will somehow make an appearance.

These fake script pages are seriously cracking me up.

The "hidden" link that say Dharma Project actually leads to the video from this weeks episode.

I'm gonna lock this one up and direct people to this thread for more "Lost ARG?" madness.
