Maybe it was just, you know, some continuity? Saying they were getting out on the 22nd meant that they could actually do the drop, or something?

Just a guess...

Had a quick look at all the pages, and at first glance, nothing looks different. It seems as though we'll have to wait for 2:15 tomorrow. Smile

New email from "34kjdz98 adiasdf9" at 11:15 AM on 23-Sept-2005

Quote:
"Ok... we got to the arcade. Should I even guess what game we're going to play Strike?"

"We're playing In The Groove! I need revenge! No monkey gets the best of me!!!!! I am Commander CyberStrike!"

"Great... great... you know what... I'll be over at Silent Scope... Oh, and don't be too loud on the machine. I don't think they like metal boots stomping on their equipment."

"Must... insert... money! Must... play... song... Oh crap... what song was it? FireStorm! What song was it!"

"The one with the l33t in it!"

"Oh that's really specific! (sniper bitch....)"

"What did you call me!"

"I said you were on a sniper pitch!"

Here are the lyrics:

I hit the L shift-O to the quote and then dollar
If you know the dir of the nerdcore rhyme, you holla

nerd-ho! warm the mic up (yo)
we 'bout to strike up
this band of nebbishes
who cultivate nebulous fetishes
the FPS, RPG or MMPOG,
any obsession to blather over by blog
or BBS. Step and possess, hone thy geekishness
your frame rate and frags to date both impress
and yes, your affinity for a certain site of some amusement
(a classically adorned parlor of fun where you let loose pent-
up cent pieces to partake of flicker-dramas)
gets you branded a sniper bitch or rocket mama-
humper, (oh no!) they said you're cheating
but with coins in hand you got more game than wil wheaton

when's this MC 'bout to get funny? I'm losing patience.
wanna know how the pants contain one wang & two next stations
and a tandy hole, where he plays whack-a-mole with the toilet paper
frontalot can rock the PA song at the lowest common denominator
not as a hater of culture or lacker in class
but an expert at math
accounting how the Penny Arcade 0\/\/nZz j00r aZz.

(that is the way we play...)

I tried finding the letters for the numbers hidden in /believe.. no good.. I may have screwed up though...

[OT] Wow, we've been under a week old and have had over 10,000 views to the thread! More pressure, PMs... a lot of people are playing this one! Smile

[META] So, in light of this, I'm trying to organize our thoughts here a little better for the future. Let me ask you all this: I've already created a "questions for people wondering about PG1 as it relates to PG2" thread, and one for the drop tomorrow. Can you guys think of anything we should get established now, so we're not grasping for space or having to read 20+ page threads to find info? I'd like to have this be as simple as possible, (i.e.; using few threads), but also to be organized and prepared for future situations as best we can (i.e.; is an interactions thread too generic? Is a "[CHAT]" thread too broad to be useful?)

Anyway, I'd love everyone's input here. What do you want to see, or am I getting too ahead of this thing, since we don't know what's in store yet?
