[META] So, in light of this, I'm trying to organize our thoughts here a little better for the future. Let me ask you all this: I've already created a "questions for people wondering about PG1 as it relates to PG2" thread, and one for the drop tomorrow. Can you guys think of anything we should get established now, so we're not grasping for space or having to read 20+ page threads to find info? I'd like to have this be as simple as possible, (i.e.; using few threads), but also to be organized and prepared for future situations as best we can (i.e.; is an interactions thread too generic? Is a "[CHAT]" thread too broad to be useful?)

Anyway, I'd love everyone's input here. What do you want to see, or am I getting too ahead of this thing, since we don't know what's in store yet?

Are we at the point yet where this deserves its own forum? Seems like it would help a lot just to get it out of ARGs with Potential where it's mixed in with everything else.

I definitely can guarantee that we'll get to that point, but I can't say that we're (really even near) there yet. Vaporlofts has had more stuff going on right now and they don't have their own space yet.

I think once we break the 5-6 thread mark, it will make sense to have a forums space designated for the game, but I think that's getting ahead of ourselves. (Sure, I'd like it, but until we have the content, it's just not necessary yet.) But, I would like to be prepared, so we don't get 10 people posting when the drop happens, with the same info, so our 25 page thread becomes 27, and two of those pages are utterly useless and confusing. So, the drop thread makes sense.

Then, I figured something a little meta was good. (Perhaps, like PerplexCity, we will end up with a Meta/Questions/Eclectic threadspace-y thing too) so I think we're well justified in the three existing threads we have going right now.

(However, if you include the stuff from the teaser, we've also got now, 4 threads... so.. um, yeah.)

But point is, do we need something else right now, to be poised correctly for the future. I know we're set for Saturday's drop, but beyond that, we've just got this thread. And for now, that's absolutely enough, but I'm wondering if we can be more proactive (or if that's just not possible until we get more into the game).

So that's the point with my last post. I'm all about comments here. Smile

(And I don't want it to sound like I'm slamming you, TPrime, cuz you're absolutely right, we will definitely merit that space soon enough, just not yet, as while unlikely with this PM, it's entirely possible that this could fizzle out, fade away, or whatever and then be wasting forum space. That, and we've only got (4) threads right now, which really doesn't merit it's own area.... yet Smile)

Hey...

Has anyone tried typing in Courage at the end yet?

(25 pages is a bit much to look through...)

Yeah, we were able to access that page awhile ago, after 'emailing courage'.

Edit: And when playing these games, you really should look through the whole thread. Otherwise, you will most definitely miss important clues.

Yay! Newness and such! This is getting exciting (especially with the unknown dropoff item of tomorrow looming on the horizon). At least we were right about the game being "In The Groove" it would seem Exclamation

Often enough, getting a forum for an ARG is as simple as PMing the admin(s) and asking. Very Happy Rookery Tower had it's own forum long before this point, because we requested it.

I think this is definitely deserving of it's own forum, and would PM someone about it.

Aah, but what do I know? I've only been lurking in this one. Confused

Hey guys! A survivor from the mess that was LegionPharma here. Never really got anything done in that ARG, but here I am. I got nothing but time, but nothing else.

Cheers!

Soem new text has showed up on the Courage page!

"You know, there was one thing I never fully understood. How did they get that monkey to sit still that long to draw that background? I mean, wouldn't that thing be throwing it's poo all over the place? If I were Roxor Games, I wouldn't put up with putting a monkey onto a background. I hate poo."

"Just remember, at least we're higher above the ground than Franz Ferdinand."
"You're listening to the last track, aren't you Chrono?"
"Yep. Pretty good too."

It's all in red.
