Now i just noticed the wiki has been removed. But i found this in the source

I'm not sure what that means right now.
aiprs=paris http://vaporlofts.com/paris/
Nothing there as of right now, just the empty directory.

Hold on. First I thought I found the same, but it's actually paris.htm . Delusional...you realize that you made the same "mistake" twice now?
You are always half-way there.
Hm. Who is this? Who is "she"? Is it Anne? Doesn't seem like she's onto anyone, does it? And what about into?
Paris links to the incident at Gare du Nord...when the camera fell down?
Could it be that guy? But Anne is not really on to him. In fact, he seemed more into her.
Perhaps it's someone we've never seen or heard about. There is no VaporLofts project in Paris which means the page should refer to Anne's visit there. And most likely to the wiki, too.
I noticed something strange in add1.html...the first letter of each description text is put into bold tags separately - although the whole line is bold. Could that mean anything? So far, no ideas. The letters are SSMM and there's at least no page of that name.

I though those will become links, but not yet are. Another point for you.
I just noticed that this technically doesn't belong into this thread any more. I guess any more findings should go into "removed wiki" or "paris.html" or the general thread.

I agree if the mods could move/merge these last couple posts into a new thread that would be great. I didn't start a new thread to begin with because i didn't think it was warrented for an empty directory.
Anyways i think the notfound.jpg is camoed. But i can't seem to find a password cracker that works right now.

also: alt text for notfound.jpg
Quote:
There is a gateway in the center of the image.
To the left, there is an old, gnarled tree.
To the right, there is a flower garden.
The image appears to be a scan of a photograph.
There are no animals or people in the image,
but a lens flare/light orb appears in the bottom corner of the photograph.

From yesterday.html, we get notfound.jpg, which has img_map.jpg camo'd inside.

Hmmm...this may already be posted, but I don't think so...and I'm not sure if it's important for you guys but the first two rows of characters are Japanese Katakana and come out to:
Yanenari Mechinomona
Yanena Tonachito
As far as I can tell it doesn't mean anything *haha*, but Katakana is used to write loanwords, so they may sound like English words.

Wow, good find, the only thing I see is in the first one I got a little different translation (I still dont know what to make of it)
yanenaru mechinomona
yanena tonachito

Taking the first two lines as a symbol cipher, rather than literal Japanese, we can get "They raise the dead", which I think is pretty solid.
The third line may possibly, if you squint at it right, work out to "but lack the vessels".
So they reincarnate spirits, but have no bodies to put them in.
I was hoping for a clue about the location of the satellite image the characters are printed on, but no luck so far.

For those playing along at home, the password for this is: yesterdayinparis
(Btw, if you have trouble getting the password to work, try redownloading the file directly. I got it twice through Firefox, and both kept giving me errors when extracting [but the password cracker ran fine]. Downloading the picture straight from a link worked fine tho. Go figure.)

Hm, TPrime, notfound.jpg is technically not part of the gateway images.
I was confused for a while, because I was sure we had information about notfound.jpg posted, but couldn't find it in the general thread.
Something for the lock-lack discussion:
In the first German excerpt - on the index page of gateway - there is a mention of a "Verriegelung Auflösung" which I can't translate back to the original English text it came from. But it could be something about a "lock".
I'm still torn between the two, you see.
Although "lack" sounds better.
