Postcard Package Hey I've just woke up and found a package from Mind Candy in the post.
Mine contains various amount of
#027 Bar None
#089 Forever For
#041 Whipsmart Wordsearch
#117 Band Name Etymology
#025 Read Between The Lines
#120 Cube Tube
and a pack of cards
3 lots of stickers
1 signed #041 Whipsmart Wordsearch, that reads "Jones 05 AD", it also says 032/100
And then a business style card with nothing new on it except "Look me up at pleasurecards.com, PEP - 4U3 4FB' It links to this page.

Hmm - so that either blows the Firebox 100 Sudoku idea out of the water, or it's a completely new '100' puzzle ...

Actually I think it might read 032/100

I got a package too
Mines 017/100
And I have something else written on the card.
James (the artist I'm assuming) has signed it, but it also has something else written on the right hand side:
^ Joy
x
It might mean "enjoy", or its the signiture of Joy
OR
Each card has a word on it and it will read out a message when we put them in order. No word (like Rob_Riv's card) might represent a space in the sentence.
The only way to find out is for anyone receiving a package to let us know what is written on the Whipsmart Wordsearch card.
I don't think these numbers will relate to the previous Sudokou 100 puzzle

Mine had the same stuff in it (although I am pleased to get a black in my first ever ACTUAL pack of cards )
My Whipsmart is 007/100 (although I thought it was 001/too at one point) and has an additional bit maybe telling me to [e]n Joy the cards

Maybe there isn't a hidden message then, as mine looks exactly like Dysper's - except 017/100 and not 007/100.

Mind Candy asked for help in letting more people know about the cube. You had to write to Scarlett saying where you would put the cards if you were given a load to distribute.
Hence, I now have a 100 puzzle cards to give to people and some stickers to stick in bizarre places!

Oh it's the result of that, clearly my ideas were rubbish.

My job gets me out and about a lot and it was only one pack per city so maybe lots of people emailed from your location.....
Oh enough of the sympathy - your idea must have been crap!!!

my idea was to hang the cards off helium balloons and release them -- i didnt get a prize -- so i either buggered up my address entry or it was a crap idea

I tend to agree, mine looks exactly like Rob_rivs except I have 027/100...
Still, nice memento!
What is the exact regulation regarding posting scans, I was going to post a hi-res section of the written bit on my card but I'm not sure what max res is allowed and if that applies to sections like this?

You could always do a high res and then crop the image to just show the written bits.
The only reason I wasn't too worried about the size of my Whipsmart is that it was so well known and owned by so many of us that it wouldn't give anything away
If possible, make the filesize smaller than my somewhat excessive 300kb one
I'm not aware of any size limit but I'd expect going over a certain amount will merely reject the file and ask you to try something else.
The smaller the file is however, the more polite it will be for the people paying for the forum's bandwidth
The actual resolution isn't so important as the forum will make a smaller image in the main display that you can click on to get the fullsized picture.
