Well, I've spent way too much time on the "key words" this night but these two links are spinning my brain in circles. I feel as if I'm almost there but I can't find the proper answer...or where to put it.
White Dwarf Star in the Sculptor group
and many of the key words fit in with the lifecycles of a star explained which here explains how Pauli's exclusion principle can lead to a white Dwarf which can lead to a nova or perhaps supernovae.
I'm too tired to go on tonite...any ideas?

about pre-shows:
first link
second link
in both articles they say that it starts 20 minutes before the scheduled start time of the movie, and that it happens before the lights being dimmed. But perhaps they are showing all this week too?

Mayhap it has something to do with what movies are being played at the times specified?

With all the references to stars, if we map the locations of these cinemas relative to each other, it might resemble a famous star constellation.
I did some playing around with Google Earth. Man, this service is cool.
edit: Turns out I did it incorrectly - scroll down for the new overlay.

I also did an overlay to make it easier for any star-geeks.
I have no idea what this is, but then again, I know nothing about constellations.

Dang, I got some of them wrong, it looks like, when I double checked. Don't try to decipher any constellations before I've updated them!!

I was just wondering if it is stars then what does sept 23rd have anything to do with it? An astrology sign prehaps?
a quick scan on wikipedia leads to:
Quote:
September 23 is the 266th day of the year (267th in leap years). There are 99 days remaining. Also an important date in pagan history celebrating autumn.

toongoon: i already thought of that last week, but that star has no name only a number which is something like ht-1940e and i tried that as a page on the receda approach website; no go. So this after looking at the whole star physics thing im thinking perhaps they are trying to be more subtle and the song names are references to a film star, supernova means that they are dead, the canada famous players means hes canadian, or something along those lines.

Alright - new "starmap" with the locations double-checked. Get on it!
Description
Starmap. Notice that there are only 11 stars marked, because 11 and 1 are in extremely close proximity.

Now try dot-to-dot with it.

Alright.
edit: update - notice that the 3 starmaps below are incorrect - they contain a misplaced star - the one above is the correct one.

Should we try and connect them in the order that they are listed on the site?

I tried - it just resulted in total crazy results.
Also, I've updated the initial starmap again, because I found one more star I've forgotten to double-check, and lo, it was wrong. I did not bother to update the other with lines.
