I'm with you on charting possible connections Flaag. We also have the guy killing people with his 9mm. "Cigarette" Paco called him. Possibly the same guy that killed Robert and Ruben.

Yes, Robert was killed in the video.

^_^;;;;;; I had to remake my account, changed it from Xestrix to X'estrix
when I found out it actually allowed the apostrophes. I would really appreciate anyone who already added me to re-add me here: http://www.lastcallpoker.com/user/Profile.aspx?UserName=X'estrix

Paco decided to name him Cigarette, cuz he was lean and white, with blond hair on top like a spark.

I found a cypher for what the Death Dates are all about...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Check through it, trout me if it's happened already, but I read through and it hasn't been discovered yet... I think.

Peace!

The live events page (allin) is linked off The Muck page - how did the cypher tie in to that?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The key thing about the game is. there's only four shapes you get on top of a tombstone: Rounded (Hearts), Pointy (Spades), Flat (Diamonds), Statue on top (Clubs).

Take the last year in the date of death, that's your card value. d. 1945, that's a 5; d. 2001, the one is the ace

Two names on the stone? That's a Jack. Three is a queen, four or more is Kings.

Lay out the flop --5 regular cards if you got 'em, a line of 5 tombstones if you don't. Now each pair has two minutes to find their two best hole cards. Trick is, you got to be able to touch both tombstones and each other at the time - so maybe i've got one on a ten of hears, and the other on my buddy's toe while he's stretched out to touch another heart for the flush.

(Picture of Uncle and Lucy)

After 2 minutes, whoever's got the workinig watch yells out "LAST CALL" and everybody runs hell for leather back to the flop and says what they found. only the best hand has to prove it, and in case of ties, first back to the flop is the winner.

Now, I think that I may have been wrong, but these strike me as odd rules... possible that death date, how many people in the family have died, and something else are a contributing factor in figuring this whole game out... I could be wrong.

Phea, it may be just that. I had a long chat with Maureen earlier this year, and that's just it. Part of why some people are into PMing is because of the community building. ILB did just that, as we know so well.

But who realy knows?

My company's firewall hates me.

Don't know if you guys work at companies who monitor computer activity, but I'll tell you this -- going to a site called "ilovebees.com" probably would raise less red flags to the IT dept than "lastcallpoker.com." GACK!

Too bad, too -- one of my biggest ILB joys was hunching over my cubicle's computer speakers to listen to the newest transmissions.

Guess I'll be on the computer all day AND all night, too... Rolling Eyes

But I wouldn't trade a thing -- it's so great to be wrapped up in a new ARG!

I don't know if it means anything, but I get corrupted audio for a split second at the beginning of the "You don't want to know" audio file. Could there be imbedded text ala ILB?

Same thing for flatline, I think it is just someone shuffling a deck of cards and then saying "Here's your card." Probably the Dealer.

I know what the "here's your card" sound is (it appears when you call some of the phone numbers too). However, I get a blip during the sound in the You Don't Want to Know file only.

Oh, and the discussion of the number dialed has been covered in the first pages of the thread. It is a 10 digit number (although 10-digit dialing is not used in the 323 area code, it is used in many areas such as Boston and New York). The number is 323-924-1638.

Anyone else notice the odd shift in the logo on the allin page? It appears that these are separate .gif files, but I think with the expertise shown in the site layout, it is highly unlikely they would screw up the alignment of these gifs ... any thoughts?

I will try to take a screen shot and crop it to post later ...

Is it just me or can you no longer sign up? this sounds awsome to me, poker and an ARG? I knew it was too good to be true, I keep getting errors when I try and confirm my e-mail, says it can't be completed because of an error....*grumble grumble*

OK, I took a screenshot and clipped it, but when I saved it into a gif file, it didn't turn out so good ... but you can see what I am talking about. I wanted to take a picture in case it changes soon ...

So what do you think???
