It may not be text in the image, but I have noticed a few odd things about the book. for one the spine of the book is either split and broken or there is a chunk of pages missing. If you look at the book there is a space between the edges of the pages. Now those of you that are book readers will note that usualy the pages of a book meet up at the spine so either the spine is broken or missing pages.
On the creepy side of things. I see dead people! there are faces in between the pages.
i knew there was reason we let a bookbinder at the table, good call

Possibilities -
1. Ripped out for letters
2. when a booked is scanned it kind of splits like that
3. Also - the bible is from the 40s - so older bibles binding could be beat up
Also the faces. just creepy.

I agree, it looks as if the book was either poorly made, well used, or disassembled by cutting the thread that held the pages together. The pages appear to now be loose and simply kept in the cover as if it was a file folder.
If you look at the tab, you can see some writing peeking out. (See attachments below.) The best way to see the details of the rules pages is to go to Uncle "Lucky"/thedealer 's profile and see the "Rules". Here each page was scaned and placed in its own image, so it's larger and more detailed.
On "Rules 01" we see a backwards "N" and a backwards "E" over an "O" and an "X"
On "Rules 01" we see "EN" over "XO".
I don't think this really tells us anything except that one blank page in a bible was scanned and then mirrored before the "rules" were drawn on when the images were created.
But then, as the Cat in the Hat said, "The best way to find out where something is... Is to find out where it's not.

I agree. Unless something else shows up to make this a clue, I think that it is just creepy coincidence.
I do have a question about the book being a bible. It seems odd that there would be two blank pages next to each other. In any printing of the bible that I have seen they tend to use all available pages to print on so that nothing is wasted. Although the tabs and the red edge guilding is used on the bibles of this type...hmmm

yep I think that you are right. I was eyeing the pages and they did look a little bit too cemetrical for a beaten up book. so the faces, although creepy are really just mirored images of randam artifacts.

I think that nobody's misreading anything! It's an anagram of XENO , making a reference to the fact that if you keep ripping out half of the pages in the Bible, you will be ripping for an infinite amount of time.

during the video, the camera lingers on the name CUSTER just before Robert dies, maybe nothing, just a literary allusion to Custer's last stand, but you never know

Just putting in my two cents...
At the bookstore, we get old books in all the time. Old, badly-made books use glue to keep the pages in between the boards...and I see books with breaks like that all the time. Even in old Bibles. If they aren't sewn, then the pages will fall out easily after time.
I collect old books, so half my collection is un-openable because of breaks like that. My theory is that the PMs needed to put something in an old book, opened it really wide to get a good picture, and broke the spine.
Just my thought.
PS - Vector, can I have some of that acid you are doing?

I can second that on the book spine issue. I've seen Bibles that look exactly like that once they get old. They can look like that even when they haven't lost pages. So, either could be true.

I was just wondering if someone knew what "post the dead" is in poker.
You guys must have seen this come up...a pop-up that asks if you want to "...Post dead 5+2?" So, what is it?
I didn't get a ss of the pop-up, but I got it in the chatlog.
Any thoughts?
