[HUMOR] Moments when you wish the table wasn't limited...

Well, that's a little odd...I caught 4 kings last night too. Wasn't the exact same hand, I had two in the hole, caught the third on the flop and the last on the river. Still, sometimes I'm wondering a little about how random the random seed is. Seems to be a lot of action at the tables.

Yea, I had a set of threes yesterday afternoon, thankfully, my table wasn't limited, on teh down side, no one called me, and I made like 305$, Ah well, Cie La Vie. I'm down from 25k to 759$

Don't have any of those, but there were sure times when I wish the table WAS limited....namely, the night that I lost on 5 flushes in a row....*headesk* Who wouldn't bet a crap load on a flush, eh?

I'm going to have to side with Nos on this one - for once, I like limits. If I start playing on the NL tables, I will be out of cash in seconds. (Boozemonkey took almost $2000 off me last night ) I suppose my hatred comes from the fact I have no self control...and will contiune betting with naught but a single pair. I'm just a terrible poker player, that's all.

While we're on the topic of weird hands...I was just playing for about an hour, and in that time I got SIX hands that ended in 3 of a kind (some turned out to be full houses as well). Now, I've played enough poker, especially internet poker, to know that odds like that are pretty small. So, think that the random card distributor AI program (or whatever) is repetative? Or do I just have amazing luck?

I personally think this client is set up to make more "fanstastic" hands, making betting a little bit more crazy. Personal, I'm getting suited pockets more, as well as alot more face cards, in my opinion. Probably to make the game a little more interesting and fast paced.

I agree C_Brennan, pay sites have to worry about giving everyone at the table the same odds to win as the other guy, where bluffing and betting usually end up being the deciding factors on who comes away with more money.

It's obvious to me [where I've had to wait sometimes an hour or more for a decent hand, and then when I do, it's unbeatable from the flop] that the PMs of LCP haven't bother going in-depth for that sort of accuracy.

Yea, I play a crap ton of online poker, real poker too for that matter and honestly, all these major differences you guys are seeing in actual gameplay, are just seeing things. It's basically the same as any other poker game. Some people get horrible hands, some people get great hands, keep playing over and over again and you'll eventually land an amazing hand or two.
