Is there anybody in the Southern California area that would like to join me? Perhaps next weekend?

[wheedle]If you come down here anyway, I promise to wait for you. Or go again. Or buy you chocolate. Or something.[/wheedle]

I'm not tall. Just taller than HitsHerMark.

Oh, that's right, you're not in SF, are you? Sad

I'm going out to look at Berkeley. Smile

I thought everyone was taller than HitsHerMark. Oops. Did I say that out loud?

Seriously, though. I'm tempted to pull off a run for the San Francisco live event.

Any takers?

I would be interested. Time-wise for me, it would have to be on a weekend. Any suggestions as to where you would practice in the Bay Area?

*eyes narrow*

You get no chocolate!

Seriously, all I says was, "Yea, he's tall"... I didn't say "Yea, he's taller then me." Because as you point out, that's not hard to do. Smile

Do the So Cal people mind if we play in Orange? Or should we try someplace vaguely centrally located like Forest Lawn?

I apologize if this has already been discussed elsewhere, but I don't think these Live Events will be played in real cemetaries at all... Based on our ability to choose our own deathdate, plus the suit of cards we're all given... Could the PMs be making tombstones based off of player information? (I mean, it's not like they'd have to be made out of rock, or anything. Plastic tombstones would be easy enough to create, especially for a corporate game.)

If this is the case, I'd like to request pepperoni, extra cheese on mine. Wink KTHNX.

I honestly think that the death date will come in to play later as an unlock for a puzzle of some sort. Im pretty sure that they will be holding these at real graveyards with real head stones. If it was anything less, it would be kinda lame.

No problem James. Smile If you go back a bit you will see that Pauloulou noticed this bit in some information about the live events.

I guess it's a nice thing to do. I can see people being offended by folks playing poker ontop of their dearly departed. Me, I wouldn't mind...but that's just me.

Which would be evidence that we will be going to real graveyards.

New York, New York

November 5th. I hope everyone attends and I am inviting my tallest friends to join in.

Not sure if I want to practice ahead of time. Not sure where we could if we did. The only cemetaries I know in New York are in Manhattan at the Trinity Wall Street Church and at St. Paul's. As St. Paul's is across the street from the World Trade Center site, I doubt we would be frollicking there. And I don't think they would allow it at either location.

Maybe this won't be in Manhattan? Yikes.

Gasp, horror. Something in New York City that ISN'T in Manhattan. (/sarcasm)

Seriously, there's some amazing cemeteries up in Queens -- acres and acres of them. If it was going to be anywhere, I'd put it there.

If they can (allegedly) insert the same statue into several shots of a video, they can certainly add some tombstones. Wink
