Maybe what we're looking for isn't 'Meridian Cross', but crossing the Meridian?

Greenwich isn't that far from London, after all, and there's heaps of astronomy related stuff that has to do with the Prime Meridian there, and the old Royal Observatory, and Haley & his comet and such.

I might be stating the obvious, but the new website looks and sounds much more like a movie ad than the receda approach which looked like music - I am guessing that these are for different things rather than the same one.

Does this mean that someone has bought the movie rights for PPC and mind candy are letting us know? This might mean that Meridian Cross are the PPC movie studio.

My personal opinion is that we are taking this the wrong way.

The messages we are receiving (poster/movie ad) aren't adverts for a PPC band or a movie tie in, they are simply imbedded messages for us. Think about it, if someone was trying to get a message across to the Earth based Cube Hunters without getting unwanted attention you have to disguise it in some way.

This is purely spec and not the best constructed argument but I think that the 3P group are also the RECEDA. The original founders of the cube, hence the Receda Cube, they are the group who stole the cube. I feel like the poster was telling us that the RECEDA are APPROACHING, and that they are coming to earth.

As far as the diagram we got from the Salk logs and the poster, I think xnbomb was correct in his assumptions;



The diagram shown to us by Salk and the poster is showing us that it is possible to travel from Perplex City to Earth. All the keywords about stars etc could have been leading us to research this area and come up with what xnbomb found.

The Salk log diagram also showed us that at least four people are needed, leading me to assume that four people from the 3P or Receda have travelled to Earth from PPC.

I really doubt that we will ever see a band called the Receda Approach, the poster and movie ad are simply means to pass on a message to us via an Earth based medium. Telling us that the Receda are coming and that our world, and theirs, are going to know about it soon.

Oh and also, on a sidenote, the diagram is made of three squares; a possibly diagram of three klebold plates ?

Anyway rant over , I do feel that people from the 3P are coming to earth though and that we will have to track them down in the future. Everyone needs a bit of character interaction

Aha, the Receda cube is 100mm (10cm) to a side, according to the trailer. (Frmo a blue background screen approx 2/3 of the way through the mov)

Anyone else notice the rectangular white box that appears and disappears a couple times on the solar panel in the lower left hand corner? Might not mean anything, I just thought it was kind of interesting.

ALSO, i dont think its coincidence about the sentinel quotes.

The last website featured heavily on the star references and and the band gave a stellar performance, this website features heavily on power/force and the film gives a forceful performance, the quotes have exactly the same construction, they only differs in the words forceful and stellar.
