[SPEC]: Zeladnzy is Turgenev, who is Caretaker? And SHIF?

 		[SPEC]: Zeladnzy is Turgenev, who is Caretaker? And SHIF?
I think it looks pretty solid that Turgenev is Zaladnzy...but who is Caretaker? SHIFT seemed to think we should know, but then later on he steps back a bit and thinks maybe we don't. It also seems at least possible that SHIFT might be Jake, although his comment about "and then I wouldn't get to retire" makes me wonder if he is someone older than that?

 		As a follow-up, look at the picture of Turgenev at the Espoo conference, and then look at the picture of Zeladzny..it could be the same guy, only older.

Interestingly enough, Turgenev was working for the Landau institute at the time...Landau, Luckman & Lake again? Could Landau be Caretaker?

Confirmed - SHIFT does = Jake!
Reggie/Mephisto = Marcus

Shift wants to communicate with Turgenev in the #shift room.

 		I don't think this is a different SHIFT chat, I just think SRM just posted some excerpts from the initial SHIFT chat (from Interaction) here in General/Updates in order to make some obs.

 		it is possible that SHIFT is Jake, but something i noticed, could SHIFT be from the future.

He says they are trying to figure out a way to bring him home, and also that he keeps moving closer to hom (the future)

Seems kinda far fetched but with all the time travel talk not out of the question

Two things stand out from this chat session for me, but since I wasn't there - I'm tentative to give much more than SPEC:

This statement was made about Turgenev (his), and I'm assuming that he was joking about Katya (in chatroom at the time). But if this isn't the case, who exactly is Kat?

Are those the Turgenev files that list speakers at Espoo? Should we be investigating those other photos/names?

Sorry, I'm a little disturbed that we've let some info slip through our fingers. SHIFT later recanted in the chat, saying that he couldn't find the photo nor name - but I just wanted to make sure we've exhausted these possibilities...
