don't know if this is cool to say or not, but if worrying about some of the top players needing to be argers or not is ever a huge looming issue, we could just fill a table and all announce what we have and give all of our chips to the person with the best hand and i'm sure that would solve that problem pretty quickly.

because it's all free anyway, and we aren't deliberately sabotaging anyone out of chips, it doesn't seem like such a big deal.

Yep, if we need to coordinate something like that, we will coordinate it. Trust me, we're expert coordinators by this point. Redistributing our wealth can't be harder than 20-second cell phone relays. Smile

/me waits for the game to prove her wrong.

Nope. Redistribution of funds is quite easy. Just don't go "all-in" and screw it up, eh marrec?

Nah -- all ARGN and one poor non-ARGN sucker.

Oops, did I say that out loud? Wink

Nah, I'm geting a feel for the tables, lets see if I can't touch the leader board after saturday's reset. I think I stand a pretty good chance if I stop yelling about Jeff.

All I know is that JdotJ impregnated my wife and made me lose my job. And other country song basic concepts. And stuff.

Dork...sucks about your wife. That's just wrong.

I'm wondering if there really IS a reset for the top players...

Bonus? Does that mean the leaders keep their cash?

The people in the private poker game today with thedealer didn't have any chips deducted from their stash when they left the game, so I'm wondering if chips which are won in an invitation game = bonus chips that we keep through the weekly resets.

I played against J-dot-J tonight. Nice enough guy, just plays very loose and probably plays a lot. Not afraid at all to go all-in pre-flop. I actually took a bit of money off him. I've played against that sort before, it's not hard. You just have to realize you're going to be folding quite a bit...but when you get your hand, you can hit for a lot.

However, I can verify that the bots still seem to be very stupid. Playing on a different table earlier, someone went all in pre-flop for about 1k...everyone else folded except the bot that was at the table which inexplicably decided to call while holding 35o. They definitely need to work on that bot AI a bit before Saturday's reset, because otherwise the leader board holders for next week will probably be those willing to exploit the bots.
