? re: Phillip Gairden's phone #

Just curious - do we know for certain that the number (2062082271)posted on the comments board at paintover.net is an authentic one? As far as I can tell, this is the only place it's been listed, but now it's spreading to websites as legit.

My feeling on this is that the PMs wouldn't use that board to communicate with us, precisely because it can't be verified who's doing the posting. For this number, it was posted in a comment by _ (at http://_/ ) - no description, just the number. Only when people called did they discover it had Gairden's name on it.

Thing is, anyone could call up K7, set up an account, and then put whatever recording they want on it. So, I'm unconvinced that this one is real.

If I remember correctly (I didn't call, mega long distance charges), it isn't even on K7, it's on something like laser...forgot the second part, is it laserphone? Something like that... someone correct me if I'm wrong, of course. I think it's just someone being annoying again...

k-7 is a subcidiary of http://www.laservoicemail.com/email2.html
I'm kinda leaning towards "it's in the game" now - maybe they wanted to use it as reinforcement because not too many people noticed k7 on Marcus' voicemail?
