I took a look at it in Notepad2, and I don't think there are any hidden images inside.

I think when he was talking about "girls", he meant he does "Girls Gone Wild" sort of things...he said they all sign waivers, etc. And it's (in his mind) close to documentary...

makeup table

Looks like she's holding something black in her other hand, the one that's reflected in the mirrored tabletop - bottom of the pic, toward the middle. I can't make out what it might be. Could that be important?

(btw - hello all! I'm new. Embarassed To unfiction and ARGs in general. But have been following along the story thus far... I think...)

Not too sure how useful it is, but Victor's license plate seems to be 4EM(G)329 Cali. Not too sure on the G or the state, but if you want to confirm it, go right ahead.

I think the thing in her hand is some sort of blush, not too sure about womens makeup tho.. possible someone of the more female persuasion can fill us in there.
However, if you zoom in just below the nail posish next to the brush (near the red glow in the reflection) there is a man, in black, seems to have black beard, possibly a goatee, white, possibly hispanic, but dont think so, wearing a black long sleeved top. Just trying to match him to a profile pic now....
Could be victor but looks a bit heavier, more muscle than fat though i think.
Does imply that there was another person at atleast one of the photo sessions though.

-Edit: looking at the other photoes he seems to be standing in the door to the next room, or unless my visual image of it is completely wrong, about half way between the door and the table (visualising it using the top of the door (just visible in refection) and the angles of the photos showing the makeup table). Then again may actually be a light above the door as i look at it, but dont think so
-Edit2: Ok, i have just spent the last half hour analysing a lamp to work out who it is, i'm gonna go hang my head in shame now.... Sad Confused Sad

Oh, and accepting all dismissals of vic being a pimp, wasnt really thinking straight due to consuming excessive quantities of restaurant pizza to try and get my monies worth at a buffet (not fat, just need to justify cost of meal on limited pocket money Wink ). Currently agreeing with it being something about tasteful art photos

To get the photo (on IE anyway) just right click and go to "save as"

Doesn't Vic say something about Cigarette's sister in reference to those pictures... Is Cigarette Corazon's brother? (AKA someonesuarez)?

could be, but girls is plural, implying more than one, and vic asks him to give the key to "his girlfreind" wheras if Ciggy was Corazon's brother he would probably have said "your sister" and not needed to write the address

I don't believe Vic is actually referring to THAT man's (Cigarette's) sister. He just assumed that if someone was coming after him to shoot him, it was because that person must have found out that Vic was shooting that dude's sister in porn flicks, and wanted revenge.

Agreed.

As an aside, I sorta feel bad. I liked Vic's character. So brief was his flame, so quickly extinguished. Crying or Very sad

Stupid sounding movie from 1997

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119107/

Quote:
Plot Summary for
Fast, Cheap & Out of Control (1997)
What do an elderly topiary gardener, a retired lion tamer, a man fascinated by mole rats, and a cutting-edge robotics designer have in common? Both nothing and everything in this unconventional documentary directed by Erroll Morris. Fast, Cheap & Out of Control (Referring to the robot specialist's strange philosophy of robot design structure, not Erroll Morris's documentary techniques!) interplays, overlaps, and interrelates these four separate and highly specialized documentary subjects in order to in truth study all of humanity, raising questions about the future of mankind.

On the other hand, in this game, that may not matter so much... the dead don't seem to be entirely out of the picture.

Anyone got access to Fast Cheap & Out of Control? Couldn't hurt to take a look at it. Errol Morris has come up a couple of times now.

Even if it's unrelated to the game, you'll like Morris' work. Best documentary director alive today.

Edit: oh snap...just remembered. Morris' also did a flick called "Mr. Death." I never got to see it, but read some interviews with Morris asking about his filming style. From what I remember, the documentary focuses on a controversy surrounding an American execution device designer who was investigating WWII concentration camps and derived negationist claims about them.

We already know Lucky was at a camp liberation. Theme synergy. Could anyone get access to Mr. Death?
