[SPEC/PUZZLE?] Matt Viet - ESC - Typo or kloo?

(Changed topic heading to more clearly indicate nature of post. --Phaedra)

Anyone noticed that the first "post" in this image is from "hakinfan" and the remainder are from "hakimfan"? (NOTICE, THE CHANGE IS AN "M" or "N" in haki_fan.)

I'm almost positive this is a typo, but that's kind of unlike our fearless PMs to let an image go with an error, so whaddyall think?'

*BTW, I searched, so if this was stated earlier, please use soft, pliable trout.

We talked about it in chat last night, and I'm pretty sure we came to the conclusion that it's something we shouldn't obsess crazily over.

I may change my mind later when I run out of things to obsess over though...

Not to pre-obsess but a quick google of hakin comes up with references to hakin'ah, which is hebrew for jealousy. Combined with the vague memory of someone saying that the cemetery they were in was Jewish... huh. I thought I'd point it out.

Also, the white van is obviously and completely a symbol of purity! And... and... Cool

Well, considering that there's an Omar Hakim card, and Omar Hakim is apparently a real musician, I think whether it's an M or an N, there's a possible way to make it...sort of...make sense:

1. hakimfan -- A fan of Hakim
2. hakinfan -- A fan of hacking things?

Okay, maybe that's a bit of a stretch... Wink

As fond as I am of PMs in general, and, I suspect, of these PMs in particular, I must point out that They spice up the internet contains what must be a typo: All of the message authors have a colon after their screen name, except for the first time our friend fish00k speaks. (It's there the second time.)

Yeah, I'd second that it's a typo. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes. Hopefully they'll read this and fix it. I don't think we need to solve it.

Hakin'ah is not really exactly jealousy, and hakin is definitely not anything in Hebrew, so don't worry about this one.
