Certainly my capture was quite a problem, Rowen. But that will not stop me from getting out of this place and getting our group back together. They may have captured me, but they have not captured you. As I bide my time until my eventual escape, I need you to do me some favors.

First of all, watch Section 32. And this time, I mean WATCH them. Not attack, not hurt, not injure, just watch. We need to know them like the backs of our hands. No tricks this time, we can't afford to be tricked again. They are devious, they are cunning and most of all, they have those blasted suits! I still maintain that I want no damage to those fine pieces of hardware, and I do want Section 32 alive, Rowen. They seem to be the only ones who can control those things, so I do want them alive. I know I don't have to remind you of that.

Second, from what I hear, their "saviors" were not from this dimension. I want you to hurry up that space-time project we have been running, Project Pierce. I want to see something fully operational by the time I break out of this place. And, Just to be kind, I will delay my break out so you can get this thing done. See how kind I am, Rowen? Good. Track down those blasted game players while you're at it. Find each an every one of them. They need to be silenced, taken care of. No one will miss them. Perhaps their friends will, but that's about all.

Third, find out if there are any chapters of that Unfiction or Immersion Unlmited group in OUR dimension. I do not need for us to infiltrate the one group just to find out we have our own little set of sleuths in our dimension to deal with as well. If they do exist, see if you can shut them down, or break their website or something. We don't have to be as outright hostile to them, because they really don't know who we are.

Fourth, find Rockwell and her family. I want them dead, do you hear me? Dead! No one double crosses us and gets away with it! I want General Rockwell dealt with, ASAP. However, from what I hear, she joined those goodie goodie S32 kids as a technical advisor for combat. If that is the case, then don't harm her. I know this sounds backwards, Almost like double speech, but it makes sense in the long run. We can't tip our hat to them. We need to do this quietly and effectively.

I am still reeling, and still every angry about the failure of Project Gateway. We lost all our our allies in darkness. (Huginn: not a typo) Section White has been separated from their suits and placed in prison. The Wild Card Gang has had their shards removed. The Doll Twins were separated from their darkness dolls, so they can't use their abilities anymore. They took my shard out of my arm. Same with the Pottsville Mafia. And now, the lousy Order of the Judges has taken the shards and locked them away in their church, in a magically sealed room. When I get out, that will be my first order of business, to retrieve those shards.

We also lost that programmer, Stephen Roberts. He would have been a good asset, Towen. Prehaps he could have outwitted Strike. Sure Strike is his friend, But we could have compelled him. I know what you're thinking Rowen. That he would have just stabbed us in the back again. Well, if we had put tighter security on him the first time, none of this would have happened. That was your fault Rowen. I put you in charge of the Project. And now that programmer is at the bottom of a river, dead in more ways then one. And the CC32 AI is lost, because strike ripped the damn thing to shreds and destroyed Project Gateway and the link to the other Dimension.

We need to reclaim what was ours. We need Revenge on ALL parties involved. And we will accomplish it.

This will be known as Project Line of Destruction. And if you fail it will be your head this time, Rowen

 		A slight descrepancy was noticed by someone in IRC.

On [URL]http://www.fallingintime.com/murphyjewlers[/URL] Pytak says "How am I supposed to decode this...It looks like gibberish" but the actual letter was sealed with wax.

1) The contents of the letter weren't gibberish
2) The letter was sealed, so he couldn't have even seen the contents.

 		Alright, I did some searching for the latin phrase up the top, but came up with no clear answer for what it meant, so I did some researching in a latin dictionary.

in : (+ abl.) in.
in : (+ acc.) into, toward, against.

obscurum: gloom, darkness
obscurum: obscure

nos : us
nos : we

fides : promise, assurance, word of honor, engagement.
fides : trust, confidence, reliance, belief, faith.


So I think it says something like "in the darkness we trust" or "in the obscure we trust" or something similar.

Anyhow, even if it is trivial, if someone knows better than me, I'm sure they step in and correct any mistakes I made.

 		odd things i have noticed about the letter:

In the paragraph talking about Rockwell he says tip our hat not tip our hand

Probably a coincidence but first thing that comes up when i good stephen roberts is this

two new projects are introduced Project Pierce and Project Line of Destruction.

probally more in there a gatecrasher could find

also mentioned many times the letter is NOT gibberish.

Well, I have been thinking about it, and I think I could have an answer... we ARE in an alternate universe, correct? So they might read and write in a completely different language than English. To THEM it would look like gibberish, but to us it makes perfect sense.

And as for number 2, the same explanation. This letter could have been sent to both dimensions from an outside source-or a source on our side sent the exact same copy to the other side. However, how it then got Rowens text... it could have been re-sealed, but the fact he wrote in english...

Confusing.

My theory: It functions much like the Address Magician Humfrey (from Piers Anthony's Xanth books) gives people when he's not available for consultation - it'll only look like plain English to:

A) the person for whom it's intended (in this case, Shadown's lackey Rowen) and/or

B) someone who really needs to see it (the GateCrashers, Section 32, etc.)

Anyone else (Pytak, Brendan, Fr. George), it looks like gibberish.
