Yanka sent me & konashark out to the Hotel San Remo to find Victor's hat:
Here are the pictures. It was folded deep inside the bush. There were lots of empty beer bottles but nothing else that could possibly resemble a clue.
So incredibly cool!!!
I wonder if this would fall under the category "running errands for the great hereafter" under Fellowship of the Dead. Maybe Vic would have to be given it first. hm.

I hope victor checks his flickr account. I just sent him an email about his hat:
Quote:
Victor,
Some friends of mine were playing poker with you and told me about your hat. I live in Las Vegas and knew where those photos were taken. I went to the San Remo and found your hat. Unfortunately, that bastard cigarette smoking jerk who blew you away had taken the $20 and I'll bet he never gave the token to your girl.

I posted the picture of me with the hat on my flickr account. But I don't know how to email Corazon. Those pictures were on Victor's flickr page.

Maybe Corazon has a lastcallpoker e-mail under her cardname too?

can you imagine the in-game ramifications of hearing from a group of strangers on the net that her boyfriend is dead, and we have the hat to prove it? wow... someone email the girl now! (corazonsuarezSPLATgmail.com? or SPLATlastcallpoker.com?)

Ooo.... Kona, could you check inside the sweatband on the hat - I hear that sometimes it makes a good hiding place for bits of paper and such.
Course you probably already did that...

You've got to be kidding. I checked that hat inside & out. The brim, the ribbon, the label inside. I even went back to the bush the next morning to see if we missed anything (it was twilight) - just empty Corona bottles and other garbage. Any paper around the area was blank or casino crap (double checked everything). Only a few folks stared at the crazy lady digging around the bush on a Sunday morning.
Found the hat for sale online: Pinzano Milan
And konashark keeps wondering why I'm wearing the hat while on the computer (he wanted me to keep it outside in the garage - "it's dirty").

That would make a perfect picture for the Girls of ARGs calendar

Yeah, but if we had those pics put up, in order to keep it in theme, we'd have to Steg it all to hell and back...
