OR
NOR
XOR
AND
NAND
NOT
Etc.
Are terms used in describing flow of data (1's and zeroes, ususlly) through "gates" (Digital pathways) in devices.
It's actually a description of the type of gate for the data.
i.e.: You only get an "1" output for an AND gate when all inputs are "1"'s.
(Line 1 AND line 2 AND line 3, Etc.)

Also, my main reason for posting the Oxnard address was that it is for Space number 13 in that park.
I'm sure it's just a coincidence, though.

Recon Mission Complete!!!!!!!

This is to give you guys a general idea of the actual area as it is portrayed on the map.
Its a bit long, but go ahead and read through it, you might decide something is important.

As a side note, the closest buildings to the X are:
The Case Library, which is currently under renovation
-and-
The JCC, which is currently serving as our backup library.

A point of interest regarding the JCC is that it is a library without books; it is just a small area with a pickup desk. The actual books are reserved online, retrieved by a machine, and stored for you at the JCC. Pretty futuristic, if you ask me.

****EDIT I put all the pics in a word document, now I need to figure out how to get them on the web..... so coming soon.

Unfortunately, this is the Awen:
http://www.neopagan.net/DruidSymbols.html
which is similar to, but not the 7th symbol.
This symbol is driving me crazy and consuming my life...I hope I find it soon.
It's not a Little Prince thing that was one of my hunches today, and along that line It reminds me of Peter Pan, "second star to the right and straight on till morning"...but I doubt that that is even close.
I have considered the flag of Tennessee, and I also found some strange reference to something like it in some online role-playing board when I meta- searched it. Maybe it means nothing at all, but now I'm being stubborn, and want to find it.

Hi all, I was doing some research on the name Triscal and Google kept asking me if I meant "triskele". I looked that up in the dictionary and it is apparently a variation of the word triskelion. The definition of triskelion is: a figure composed of three usually curved or bent branches radiating from a center. Here is an example of a triskelion:
http://m-w.com/mw/art/triskeli.htm
This caught my eye because it looks very similar to the drawing that can be seen to the left of the "FOUND" page in book zero.

Edit: I was going back through the early convos on LL and I found a post that "I" made a post challanging MG to guess his middle name
Quote:
Well Done MountainGirl
That's Triscal as in threepointed celts
Islington as in NoMan is an Islington
If you can guess my middle name maybe I'll send you a present
T.I.

Triscal = "Threepointed celts" = triskele? Maybe just another way he signs his name?
P.S. MG did figure out his middle name-

Is it Donne as in John Donne Meditation. No man is an Island?

Hey Ceolacanth and Jillah, I also think that that little symbol is the triskele, I'm glad someone else noticed it too. The Triskele is Celtic, it usually stands for triplicity of some kind, like past, present , future, or life, death, afterlife, or even birth, life, and death. I would tend to connect it with past, present and future, since time travel has been a major part of this, but there are other things in threes so who knows.
This game by the way has taken over, I work at a library here and I find myself shelving the books thinking, maybe this is one, maybe this book has some clue...it has really slowed my shelving down as I am constantly looking inside the books to see something...of course I did that before, but it's even worse now. Smile I'm not wonderful on a computer, but give me something I can look up in books and I'm at home. I think I'm getting tired, and I'm rambling now so I'll stop, see you all tomorrow!

(Edited b/c it's late and my first explanation made no sense)
This is pure speculation, but I would assume that the book you just recieved is the present. You are the only scribe/player to actually recieve anything as of yet. It's possible that I am jumping to conclusions though.
My main reason for posting about his name was to draw the connection between triskele and Triscal. I included the bit about you figuring out his middle name was to give credit where I thought credit was due. It's possible that the whole middle name thing was just a red herring though.

Hi everyone, just found out about Triskabiblios and am rather intrigued but balked at all the material in the forum. Erm... Is anything happening now or has it died down indefinitely?
