ummmm....I'm gonna out on a limb and say you got yourself into some weird REAL ess here. I'll wait for the pamphlet but this looks like some freaky ess and there's even a link to really join up.....I'm guessin you might have seen an ARG where there was none

This is probably not an ARG.

Yeah, it does have ARGy stuff in it... but remember, ARGs have to get their ideas from somewhere. (And I'm thinking societies such as this inspire so many ARGs).

To me, it looks like this is a real Rosicrucian society that's recruiting people that share their beliefs. Nothing too weird about it. Just a society of a bunch of people that genuinely believe certain things and share certain ideas/morals/whathaveyou looking for others to join up.

Hmm... You can even attend one of their "free intro salons" and check it out if you want. It says their Grand Master will be speaking at one in San Jose on November 8th. That kinda adds to the feeling that this is Real Reality - not ARG.

Groups like these DO exist in real life - not only in our beloved ARGs. And they gotta recruit people somehow. Wink

Too bad - I was looking forward to a brand new ARG. Razz

Personally, anytime I see that there is a $350 membership fee to sign up for a year - I think real.

Why do all secret socities have such a high membership cost? Is there no love of knowledge anymore - just money?
