UPDATE: Beth's Metadex Beth's Metadex has also been updated:

Subject: Labyrinth report
On your Friday progress sheet, you say that you worked on your report for the Labyrinth project that afternoon, but I know you took that afternoon off.
You're my star worker, so I'm not going to make an issue of it, which is why I'm sending this here rather than at work; but let's be clear that it mustn't happen again.
I'll expect you to have the report finished and ready to go by Monday morning.

Thank you for the lovely lunch. It was nice to see you, however short. However, you know me, I'll always worry. Pleas take care of yourself. And don't forget to call your father, he would appreciate hearing from you. Have you thanked him yet for your birthday gift?

Notice the error in "Pleas"? Typo or clue? Let's see if they fix it.
I've been looking for references to "the Labyrinth project" but haven't found anything that looks promising yet.
Also changes to her Notes area, where she mentions "the PA file". Any ideas?

Phillip's was updated also, the note says something about the UH file for LK i'm assuming that UH is Underscore Hosting.
But who the LK is, i haven't figured out yet.

mlo marcus ormond sent the email, so i checked his bio and got the following quote:
"We cannot allow science to undo it's own good work" and if you search that phrase in google you'll get 1 result and a big headache, but you'll see the quote is most likely from our good friend huxley again
...i then tried logging into metadex as mlo but huxley isn't his password...drat...not so easy this time maybe bnw or bravenewworld would work?

While most of the old e-mails have been obscured, one old one is still prominant;
Code:
Email from pgairdenSPLAT metadex.net
Date: 9/30/03 18:24
Subject: re: It's all set up
Yes, I was able to get in just fine. Thank you. It is a shame that it has come to this, but perfectly understandable. Do you have an eta for the others though? Let me know if I can be of any assistance.
Phillip
Coincidentally? The time on Phillips other mail is still visible, and shows that THIS mail is not the most recent.
Which seems to suggest that it is in some way STILL relevant. Maybe she's about to reply to this.

I beleve that email is in regards to little-boxes.net. The incedent in which she lost all her files and had to give him a password to access it makes this email sound.

Yes, Laika was the first dog in space - it's also a breed or type of Russian dog.

It's easy enough to type "laika" into the search area.
The reason these forums are so crowded with posts is because folks aren't even trying to search for what's been looked at before. Makes it tougher on everyone, right?

Yeah, and agree with that theory, just extending it.
The whole desktop has been re-arranged to accomodate the new messages, the old ones having been stacked up with this one on top.
Of the other older messages, the "he is missing" one at the back is positioned in such a way that you can see the date, time subject and who it was from. Enough to see that this is a more recent mail from Phillip.
It just suggests to me that either there may be something else n here or that I've been doing this for too long without sleep.

thought about beth/trinity connection:
her e-mail address is emc2SPLAT metacortechs.net.
emc2 --> e=mc^2 --> theory of relativity
trinity is the name of the first atomic bomb test, and of course the theory of relativity is, boiled down, the breakthrough that allowed the creation of the atomic bomb.
way simplified, but.....

I can see how you worked that one out, but to me there seems to be some major faults:
1) emc2 = Beth McConnell. If your point is that emc2 could be Trinity, take a look at their respective photographs. To me, they look nothing alike.
2) If I'm not completely off, the Theory of Relativity and the atomic Bomb has nothing to do with one another (other than the name of Einstein).
3) It seems too far fetched.. Most or all of the other clues has had no more than 2 or 3 link between themselves and the solutions..
But hey, I might very well be totally off

Trout .
I think just about everyone has figured it out. Please read through the posts or use the search feature so the board isn't cluttered with repeats (like these multiple troutings today...)
