[META][DC Live Event] Washington, DC Tombstone Poker Event While the old ILB crowd can supply enough folks to start things off for this live event, I'm recruiting other local members of the UF community to join us - sound off and let us know who to expect!
Also, does anyone know what other web communities are playing the game? I'd like to encourage their members to come to the live event too...
EDIT - unstickied since this is past its due date - SG

I'll be at the DC event, and I'm bringing my friends and LCP players DaemonKain and Guags.
*****EDIT ---- OCTOBER 21*****************
Due to an ill-starred twist of fate, Cassandra & Co. will sadly not be attending the DC Tombstone games this weekend. (I'll miss seeing you all! Collect a poker chip for me )

DC Event I'm about 90% certain that I'll be able to make -- heading back form a business trip and flying into DC on Friday night, so maybe I'll try to catch a place to stay from a buddy and bring him out.

I may be in Washington that weekend too - visiting my sister. We might be able to go if the timing is right. I will try to bring her and her husband along.

Not that we're competing with the SFO crowd or anything, but WE should plan on something social Saturday as well, doncha think? Of course it would help if we had some idea where the event may happen - hate to plan something in Arlington and find ourselves in a cemetery in Rockville...

Anyone headed down from near Connecticut? Turns out my old beat up Volvo was too big for the carry-on compartment.

I have just picked up on this game today and already I've spent 8 hours playing poker. It looks like a fun game (and a good crowd of players).
I'll be there for the DC event.
My spec is that it will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, overlooking Rock Creek.
Once we know the name of the cemetery, we can use the oddly morbid http://www.findagrave.com to search for people who died on our birthdays. Should people think that ethical, of course.

Using available web tools is legit; of course the requirement for a photo means you still have to go to the cemetery if you find a good name on the website.
