Re: [UPDATE] Oct 8 And we're back. So far only the muck appears to have been updated.

Any reason they are all dated October 6 (Thursday?)

I'm guessing that Simon's is supposed to be dated October 7 or later, since it begins "They had buried Maurice on Friday." I'm expecting a correction -- much like the link from Maurice's obituary notice in "That chemical funk " on Clay's page, which originally linked to something weird like "SB-3100" but now properly links to Simon's entry about the funeral.

There's some writing semi-hidden in the obituary, can't get it yet but i guess it means something. Or is it just bad newspaper printing?

On all the cards (even the ones that haven't been updated), the "Log out" button at the top of the page has "In" scribbled over "out" in what looks like MS Paint.
Edit: On second glance, it looks similar to the "LooT" thing that was removed a while ago. Maybe a misdeployed puzzle of some sort?

Yeah, I noticed that too. Tried to click on it but it just, well, logged me out.

For the most part, it looks like the same text, shifted up and to the right. There is the large word "the" at the bottom that seems out of place.

Just enlarging it shows it to be offset print containing parts of the obituary, as if the printing press had double stamped and the second one didn't have any ink on it and the page had been moved.
Strange that Simon's update says the service was on Friday, yet... the newspaper obituary states it is held on Saturday.

I have been playing with the obit in photoshop, and it looks like at the bottom it says "at the graveside". So far I can not make out much else. I get the impression it is part of another obit, superimposed to give the newspaper effect.
