Call for help - encryption puzzle

Hey guys,
I'm sorry for bothering you all by asking for more help with the Omnifam ARG, but our player base is small, and we've been stuck for almost a month on this puzzle. So, we're hoping your brainpower can solve it Smile

If you are interested, the page in question is located here: http://www.arcanum-ultor.com/ghfhg2.php

We've been given a few clues; the obvious one being to find the encryption or the key. The last clue we got a few days back:

Quote:

Facts In Evidence

The characters presented on the page remain consistent as long as the IP address of my web client doesn't change. Logging in through a proxy server or otherwise altering the IP address reported to the website results in a different string of characters.

The character string is consistently 560 bytes in length and doesn't vary based on the client application used.

Other than normally anticipated headers, the page also returns a header containing the string:
x-encrypted: kzort v4.7

Conclusion
Clearly, something is encoded in those text strings. WARN operatives need to review what they know and evaluate it along with the facts presented above.

If you could offer any ideas, or actually solve this thing, it would be more than welcome!

I have no idea about this, but what about http://www.arcanum-ultor.com/ghfhg.php ?
I don't see it mentioned anywhere on the Omnifam boards. It's an automatic referal...did you manage to stop that and get access to the page?

Abraxas - yeah, we did manage to access that page. The website has been set up as a puzzle trail, with each answer linking us to a page of information, before it redirects to a new puzzle. I should have mentioned this in my original post, so sorry about that!

For some reason most of the players post on an Alias fanboard, which is why there isn't many posts in the Omnifam section on UF. But everything we know about the puzzle I posted. Except for the page redirecting Wink

Apparently, if you type in the name of a picture that doesn't exist, it redirects you to the key.jpg. A few of us did think that the key image may somehow help solve this puzzle, but Omnifam never replied to our e-mails about that, so we assumed that we were wrong.

Solution:
XOR every bytes with your IP numbers.

Example:

Your IP is: 10.20.30.40

byte1 XOR 10
byte2 XOR 20
byte3 XOR 30
byte4 XOR 40

byte5 XOR 10
byte6 XOR 20
byte7 XOR 30
...

Which gives:
