Actually, it makes more sense if EMC2=*E*lizabeth *MC*connell.

How about EMC2=*E*lizabeth *MCC*onnell.

It's quite comon in the military world to abreviate CC as C2.

i know that her email addy is derived from her name. i still think that it is no coincidence that her address is the theory of (general?) relativity w/o annotation. probably useless at this point, but once we get deeper into things it might be useful or interesting.

I'll just mention that if you Ctrl-A, and copy/paste, you can read the entire text on all the messages. This may be useful to someone eventually.

Beth's birthdate?

Beth's recent mail seems to imply she had a birthday recently, perhaps on or about 10-3. We know she's 20-something (stated in little-boxes). Could her birthdate be part of a password?

I think it's safe to say her birthday is on 09/26/?? (but not earlier than 1974). As far as it being her password: on her previous "my life" page she went on about how she doesn't really see why people are so emotionally attached to birthday, it's just another 1/365 days of the year, and what's there to celebrate anyway? From which, I think, many people concluded that that's a hint that her birthday would not be her password. After her "my life" page changed, I tried her birthdays - and nothing.

As far as E=mc^2, I think it'll have to play out. W bros they wanted to pay tribute to the string theory (I know, I know - not Einstein, but I just took to be a general "we want to explain the universe at large"). And Marcus' quote "We can't allow science to undo its own good work" from Huxley seems so much like Albert's "God does not play dice". Also, it seems even more relevant to the fudge factor now that it has actually been "proven" to some degree... I don't know, but I just think that something along the lines of "quantum", "relativity", "uncertainty" etc. might end up as a password. I tried stuff like that for Beth and Marcus, and nothing worked yet Sad Sad

2) If I'm not completely off, the Theory of Relativity and the atomic Bomb has nothing to do with one another (other than the name of Einstein).

Actually, if I'm not completely off, they have a lot to do with one another. E=mc2 is the equation derived from the relativity theory's mass transformation at really high speeds. An object has the energy of its mass * the speed of light squared stored inside it, which is a huge amount. When they figured out how to release that energy (something about breaking apart subatomic particles? I'm not sure about that) then the atomic bomb was born.

That's what I remember from physics class, anyway, someone correct me if I'm wrong, which I very well could be...

FWIW, I think this may be relevant at some point because technology is such an important theme in this series, especially the dangers of technology...so that's why I wanted to point that out. Very Happy

Like I said.. I might be way off Very Happy

- But to follow up on the current thread: I believe the number 2 to be quite significant.. It might be Elizabeth McConnell, but it might also be Elizabeth McConnell 2.. We have that on the picture as well. Is there two people named Beth McC? Why would they annotate the 2? It must be a clue.. But I have no idea as to what.

Indeed, it has been said before. Once again, I refer any newcommers to reading the forums before posting almost week-old "news". There is an outstanding search-function on this forum which will help you see if any discovery of yours has already been posted. Furthermore, there is 3 main sources of info. See:

http://www.cs.uiowa.edu/~mlpatter/matrix/

http://www.bole.ca/matrix/

http://mitglied.lycos.de/Gumpraider/metacortex/

(BTW: I wont be listing these pages again).

New email from pgairden

A new email is in Beth's inbox at Metadex

It has been my experience that there is more to gain from following your instincts than in ignoring them. Your mind is complex; I will grant you that. However, it has its weaknesses. In order to work as efficiently as it does, it skips information that is often vital...filling in the data as it sees fit. Your instincts rarely fail you and ignoring them can often be dangerous and lead to regret. It is a lesson that I learned in my childhood and something that has brought me far in life. It's not one that I like to ignore, which has made this week so difficult. I did publish the article by Dr. Leo Kane, though I still have my doubts. Politics is an ugly game and one that I've rarely won. Despite the wealth of sound material for this edition, there was no choice but to publish with his quackery. That may be harsh and an apology may be due, but a quick look at his website does not ease my concerns. There is just something about that man that I do not trust. I've begun an investigation into him, though I've not found anything conclusive. Thus my doubts, my instincts, went ignored. Is it right to be so upset when people that you respect do not respect you?
Phillip

Any use to anyone, ther nust be a clue in there some where.

It refers to the article by Dr. Leo Kane on Paranormal Journal:
