Anything is possible. If the hands of the clock were reflected, then it could be 12am or 12pm. Although I think the 'reflections' thing is misleading us... How can we get from key-Tom Paine-Rights of Man-1790pm-Sunday to THE KEY WORD?

I tried Bastille, Lafayette, France and Washington right now, but no luck.

Are there any other words which mean key? And other words which are the word for 'key'? What's the Japanese phonetic translation for key? Shylil - can Orkid help?

I saw the address link al LL and just messed around with the address bar. It seems to be a back door, so you can't go anywhere...but at least we know we're on the right track.

It seems there's a problem with the PHP on that page. Looking at the source, I don't think we're meant to see it all at once.

This is from the source of the frame on the New New page.

Oddly, entering "6:30pm" doesn't work on the "key" page.

Very sneaky! I think we're getting a tiny peek behind the curtain! If Iz is watching this forum (as I'm sure you are, good sir) then it won't be long before the .html page replaces the .php page or before the .html page is gone. At least this suggests that 1790=1830, so I can stop with the base 36 / base 64 translation. The key box doesn't seem to work on the .html page and 'keyword correct' has jumped from the Paine page to the key paged.

I also think Iz may be admitting to a slight slip with the whole 1790/1970 thing, if he's saying that dates are not his strong point. I suppose no one's perfect, ay Iz?

I really think that thekey.html is a sandbox. He was using it to write the script, and then renamed it to .php when it was done. I mean, the form action on it is nothing, and an obvious php script is there for checking the passcode, and showing passcode correct if that applies. Otherwise it shows the same page again.

EDIT: And it's gone.

There's a similar version on the frame for the previous page. Except that PHP is broken. It says..

Quote:
<?php
if($keyword!="thekey"){
?>
<body>
<div align="center"><br>
<a href="key.php"><***img src="noburke.jpg" width="393" height="441" border="0"></a><br>
<***img src="bookzero.jpg" width="360" height="139"></div>

</body>
</html>
<?php }else{ ?>
keyword correct<br>
<?php } ?>

***'s were added so it didn't show up with broken pictures
Edit - And thekey didn't work as my keycode.

The .html page is now GONE. I get a 404 error when trying to load it. I think Iz caught us at our little game...

Anyone know where that key picture is from? It might be another part of the clue.
