[Puzzle][Solved] 050 - Orange - Eight States

Box 1. the untidy garden verges on the ridiculous
Box 2. the placebo is exceptionally difficult to swallow
Box 3. the hostel sells ale, mead and porter
Box 4. kneel and chant 'allah" as seen on tv
Box 5. the nomad is on his way south
Box 6. hero had overtaken leander
Box 7. in no particular order, my favourite months are june, august and july

Hidden within the seven sentences above are the names of eight US state capital cities. Can you find the eight capitals and then name the states they hail from?

Well the best way to solve this is to put the sentences together without spaces, the names should then jump out

But what's the eighth one? I can't find it anywhere in the sentences.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
One of the postmarks is Boston, MA
but it says in "the seven sentences", so I don't know if this counts. Confused

I loved this one. This was my favourite card so far. I like word games. I couldn't get the last one tho. I thought it could be Juneau but I looked up the answer before I checked how to spell the Alaskan capital. Doh! Rolling Eyes

Did anyone else have Wacko Warners song about the US States and their Capitals in their head?

code?

I was looking at this card after the whip smart solve. Did anyone take the left over letters from this card to see if they were a code, as in the whip smart? I didn't see it posted anywhere and wasn't sure if I should assume that had been done already.

I tried using the code from a spare card but still no points from this 1, what exactly did you input to get the points?

Is it just my dyslexic fingers or will this not work?

I've tried 'Every which way' - even getting all American on its ass.
