[OT] OMGWTFBBQ. Most. White. Trash. Tombstone. Ever.

While doing some favors for the dead today, I stumbled across what may be the most white-trash tombstone ever. I really hope it is all tongue-in-cheek, but I doubt it is.

If you would like to browse around the gallery of graveyard pictures I took today (at the Lone Fir cemetery in Portland, Oregon--dating back to 1854), they are right here. I do ask that you "look but don't touch." Please do not take photos from there and pass them off as your own, with regards to the favors. Remember, the point is to get out of the house and pay your respects, not "get the most points."

(Warning: Not, um, politically neutral. Nevertheless, contains non-political funnies too.)

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Theodore Roosevelt Heller

Theodore Roosevelt Heller, 88, loving father of Charles (Joann) Heller; dear brother of the late Sonya (the late Jack) Steinberg. Ted was discharged from the U.S. Army during WWII due to service related injuries, and then forced his way back into the Illinois National Guard insisting no one tells him when to serve his country. Graveside services Tuesday 11 a.m. at Waldheim Jewish Cemetery (Ziditshover section), 1700 S. Harlem Ave., Chicago. In lieu of flowers, please send acerbic letters to Republicans. Arrangements by Chicago Jewish Funerals, Douglas MacIsaac, funeral director. Published in the Chicago Tribune on 10/10/2005.

Bet he'd be fun to play poker with. RIP, Ted.

Had to chuckle at that. He must have been a real rip-snorter when he was alive. He certainly won't take any guff from the guys around the poker table.

I think Lucky and Maurice would just love to meet him.
