The Korean Barbeque sounds awesome. Apparently my friend here at school wants me to visit her friend for her (don't ask). I guess they own a chinese restaurant somewhere SoHo. I don't think I'm going to do that unless she comes though.

Damn, you guys are going for Korean at jamesi's place and I'm going to miss it. Damn you all, damn your infernal souls. Be that as it may, Miami is very warm this time of year. Nyaah.

Also, I'm travelling with one non-ARG female, and potentially another ARG player (just started on LCP). So they'll want to go shopping. Meh. Suggestions?

Civilian, eh? 5th Avenue from 59th to 45th or so is usually the best WINDOWshopping, but us regular joebrents can't afford much of that stuff. I'm more of a Soho kind of guy, so try Broadway from Canal going north all the way up through the Village to Union Square, I buy all my clothes at Yellow Rat Bastard on Broadway just north of Canal, but if you're not into yellow, rats, or bastards, there's still something for everyone in that area. Check out Pearl River across the street from YRB, it's the AllThingsChinese Fort Awesome. And you can get tea there too.

Century 21

I trust all things that joebrent recommends in NYC.

For shopping,if you want another idea, I also recommend Century 21 Department Store. A discount store, you have to go through mixed-up racks and you can't try on things too well. On the upside, I got an Armani dress there for $45... You can waste a lot of time there, so maybe the thing for the women with you to do is run in, check out the shoes on the first floor and leave.

(Century 21 is across from the WTC site. It was open before 9/11 and the owners refused to abandon the site. When it reopened, shoppers were very happy. Don't feel that shopping next to the WTC site is not respectful.)

About the Metrocards, they are $7 each- a one-way bus or subway ride is normally $2 so for one day they are a really great deal.

Let me know how many you will need, I can mail them out to you so people have them in advance if you want. But let me know ASAP.

So it turns out I can't go, because I'm leaving for Canada tomorrow (although I am most definitely coming back in time for NYC graveyard games). Sorry, I hope you guys have fun!

CE ARGFEST

hey guys. I have been totally consumed by work the past few days. CE I can meet you when you arrive tomorrow - just post what time - after that I am not sure of my schedule.

I did confirm that Toy Tokyo has PPC cards in stock. Maybe I can journey down there with you and then head to my office.

Just post the time or call my home number in the morning. Have to run right now.
