Thinking about it, "the sock puppet told me to" is probably the safer approach.

 		Okay, I can confirm I will be there with about 4 or 5 of my friends. Lots of ground crew.

I might put Skype on my PDA, so if we could setup a conference call or something like that it might be cheaper, but I can call from it aswell as IRC.

 		I'm going to drive down and stay over for the night in a hotel (there's no way I can miss kicking some southern softie ass in a drinking compo)

Anybody else coming from Oooop Naaaarf (Blackpool, Liverpool, Manchesta area) and wants a lift, but doesn't mind staying in a hotel (you'll have to get your own room, i'm not pretty in the morning) PM/MSN me.

Is anybody else staying over in a hotel? It'd be nice to have a few of us in the same place... there's no fun in taking advantadge of late night hotel bars on your own Wink

N.B. I'll be finished after 5 pints.

 		Hmm, I really want to be there, but I'm not sure whether I'll be able to. I should know by the end of this week/early next if I can make it. Gonna try my best to, since I wanted to be at the cubefest thing but couldn't make that.

Anybody else think that this could be a cunning way of releasing the second wave of cards? Signed ones could be a nice reward for those that successfully follow the trail...

 		Ooh, I'd really like to. I can't make any promises but if I can find a reasonably priced/timed train from Birmingham then I'll seriously consider it. Any rough directions on how to get to Play Lounge if you're coming in by train (probably to Liverpool Street, I'd guess)?

Plus if I can drag anyone along with me so much the better Very Happy

 		New on the forum, but willing to come down and help out.
If you're coming from Liverpool street, get on the Central line to Oxford Circus, once you get out, take the Argyl street exit, turn left, head down that road, at the end turn left then immediate right onto Carnaby Street. At the bottom, turn left and Playlounge will be on the right hand side of the street.

Looking forward to participating in an event, see if I can get a couple more cubehunters involved.

Ok guys, I'm definitely setting up a VOIP server for voice comms between the ground and support crew. I'm currently compiling a 'For dummies' guide, at the request of Mokey Fraggle, on how to configure the softphones (For windows and Linux PC's and also PDA's - windows mobile based) to connect to my server.

What I need now is a list of people who want a connection to the server (each person has his/her own extension number). If you add a little message in your next post here to say if you want an account, or PM me, I'd appreciate it.

As everybody's hardware/software config is different it's a good idea to have a dry-run of the conference call at some point before the event. I'll post up a date and time later on for the dry run. I'll be posting the phone number/s to connect to my server from your mobile or landline as well so will need some users from the ground crew to try them out.

If there are any MOD's on the the support team, then could you please PM me and I'll give you the access details to help mod the conference call.

Just a thought. That web page only implies that we might be meeting members of the Receda group, doesn't have to be the mastermind, necessarily.
