Re: [update]Oct. 12 Harry and Don are updated.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Looks like Don's our #1 suspect for the Buyer. He's certainly Kink's employer -- the guy who shot him -- and he's also the one who sent Kerry to kill Vic.
So who can read that card from Harry's wallet?

Got the phone call. Conversation between Harry and Don where they say they are both dirty. Harry knows about Kerry. And it ends with a gunshot. I think Harry's dead.

That would explain the contents of Harry's pockets on Don's page .

I've tried looking at this page to try and decipher the chinese characters, however I don't think I'll get anywhere with this, and we really need someone who reads some chinese here!

I blew it up big and it is too low resolution. I will be amazed if anyone can read it. But then I couldn't read the sign in the parking lot in Vegas. This looks worse though.
Well, for what it's worth, the line spacing doesn't seem to be right for the letter Kerry first wrote up.

I'm not so sure. For one thing, Harry is still listed as "Alive" on LCP, although we all know how reliable that is...
More importantly, the contents of Harry's Pockets are dated October 8, 2005, the same as the "Disney Dad" entry on Harry's page. To me, this implies that Don lifted Harry's wallet when Harry invited him over to his place last Saturday night. It doesn't necessarily mean the shooting took place there and then.
(Of course, since I haven't actually heard the phone call yet, what do I know?)

are we even sure its Chinese? It looks more Japanese to me, but this isn't based on anything in particular.

Plus I think Kerry burned up that first letter, didn't he?

Long version: Japanese kana is taken from the Chinese characters. This is hirigana, the more complex, symbol = concept writing. This is opposed to katakana which is more phonetic.
Short version: It's all the same at a certain point.

They are kanji, which are the Chinese ideograms that have been incorporated into the Japanese language. If they were hiragana or katakana, I'd have them, but my Japanese is rusty enough that I've forgotten most of the kanji.
