I got a positive reply for my kink curse:

Kennedy Patrick O'Brien = Kink, be part cindery one (ie. burn in hell Kink)

Even though at first my camera batteries died on me and I had to wait an extra day to take the pic;

Quote:
Nicely played, kid.

I'll get back to you as soon as I get your pic.

Either way, thanks for doing me a Small Favor-

The Dealer

then I forgot to attach it to Lucky

Quote:
Give it another try, kid. There's no attachment.

....he forgave me though.

Last but not least.  This one had to wait until sunset.  There's a
small cemetery on the grounds of my daughter's elementary school.  I
braved the brambles to spend some time with Ollie Bausch.  One thing
I took away from today was how many people die young.  Life is so
very short, isn't it?  So damned short.

All the names we saw at the cemetery this afternoon of prominent
Austin citizens - names you see on streets and parks and airports,
Barton and Bergstrom and Zilker - they're all ashes and dust now.

As is Ollie Bausch, who lived to be 20 years old.  RIP Ollie.  And
RIP to you too, Mr. Brown.

I got:

Quote:
Thanks for bringing a tear to an old man's eye. You're a good kid.

Awwwwwww. *sniff* Now I'm crying. Reality comes full-circle.

Non-standard replies:

Points for style using good old Charles Laughton for a mutinous curse indeed.

For Kink's curse, "Hang as cur! To Hell!" (Turns out it's good to live near Hollywood. I got the bright idea of searching for famous people buried nearby, figuring out a decent anagram ahead of time, and then trotting out to Forest Lawn with a camera.)

It was very nearly like seeing my own son's grave tened. Thanks for bringing a tear to an old man's eye.

For tending the grave of a fellow who just happened to be named Robert Brown. "Beloved son," yet. Mr. Green

I sent an email asking for a time extension on the Evergreens cemetery small favor.

I got back:

Quote:
Good of you to ask, kid. Take all the time you need, but be first. There's no time limit on the Place favors but they're first come, first rewarded.

Thanks for the pic. And thanks for thinking of me.

Lucky
