Well, I don't know for sure that she is he...that he is a she...that he is a he-she, but there's certainly a resemblance (especially in the nose). Could just be same actor, but not same character (like with the pics of Lucky and Robert...clearly the same actor).
Add to that what Vic said in last Wed's chat :
Quote:
konamouse: does she have any other friends?
victorsimkoaldridge: Corazon? She knows half the nieghborhood! She's into Latina politics, Kona.
And we are moving in that direction. Note that vic said that twice.
On the other hand, there are folks in chat saying that there was a breif moment where the text called Corazon

Slip-up? Joke? To be revealed later? Only time will tell.
EDIT: addendum.
As long as I'm posting, check out this graffiti art from lucy's update (the pic with the gun missing). Seems to me that's a puzzle.

It looks to me like it could be a crude version of Sam's tattoo. Maybe his gang was the one responsible?

I'm happy you got a card finder credit. But I'm pissed - I've been trying JohnnyDeuces, like, every week. Especially after we got that bubble-bath video on Wed. I knew it! Congrats.

I guess that proves that the cards aren't there until they're supposed to be found, huh?

I think it's probably the sign for Mi Casa that Johnny left when he stole the gun.

Re: [UPDATE] Oct. 15 The instructions for our friends in San Francisco are up:

Your friends at the Italian Cemetery are about to take a little journey. But first, they need to find their marching orders.
Tell them to locate the southwestern-most road of family mausoleums. Travel down it far enough, and they'll come across the final resting place of Stefano and Amelia Rovere.
There, at the foot of a tree, among the pink geraniums, I've left them a box. When they have the box, they'll know what to do next.
If your friends aren't handy with orienteering, they might need your guidance. Directions and distances can sometimes be deceiving when you're on the ground.
At the very end of their journey, your friends are going to want your help finding the sweet spot. So when the time comes, let them know I've dealt 'em a ten, an ace, and a nine.
Good luck. And hang on. If you friends get the favor right, we're all going on a journey together. And not a little one.
And then, at about 3:30 p.m. Pacific time:

And then, two minutes later:

Give me five minutes to wake up some old friends...
And now the site is back up... AND WE'VE GONE BACK IN TIME!!! OMGWTFBBQ!!!!11!!!11!
Later, and slightly calmer:
New entries for Lucky and Maurice . And a new card: their old war buddy, Jerry .

Sheesh, even our avatars have gone back in tim! For some this is a good thing, as they get neat army hats. Though for me..... not so much.
EDIT!: The poker rooms now have now received a new (or old, rather) look, which fits it very nicely.

Here's my take on the German text from Otto Griff's page (very well written, by the way):
Mr Griff,
I propose an exchange. For particular reasons, which are none of your concern [or literally and more polite: which are not of your interest], I can't move at liberty. I am willing to pay for authentic passport documents [ID]. Furthermore I offer you to acquire [a list of] names and places of residence of the SD officers which are responsible for collecting [I think it's more like "stealing"] items from the West [of Germany] in your section/district.
If you agree with this arrangement, please either you - or a confidant of yours - come to the bombed-out post office in vicinity of the Dome at 2 o'clock on any given afternoon in this week. Please carry with you a white handkerchief as disctinctive mark.
Yours rescpectfully,
a friend.
